- Some highlights from this stupendous episode, Mumm-ra finds the Golden Sphere of Seti which makes him 'exactly' four times more evil! I want one of those!!
Mumm-Ra "With the sphere, I dont need the Ancient Spirits of Evil!!!"

The answer's simple. The relics that gave him 3x and 5x the evil got destroyed ages ago, so he had to settle for the one that gave him 4x the evil. I miss ol' bandage brain; unlike most Saturday Morning villians, Mum-Ra was a cold, calculating mastermind, who relied on trickery and deceit as much as he did brute force.
If Mumm-ra didn't intricately outline his own plans to himself, or state the obvious so much to other characters already involved in a situation he contrived, we would never have been able to figure out what was happening.
This episode is when the Ancient Spirits of Evil put Mum-Ra behind in check! lol

This is the second only episode in the original series that I actually don't blame the ancient spirits of evil of their behavior, the first is the last day.

Well mumm ra has always been unquestionably loyal to the ancient spirits of evil and they probably realise that he is the best fighter they have against the thundercats and they probably also realise that the sphere does make whoever wields it mentally unstable so that's probably why he didn't get badly punished for it though he has been punished in other episodes such as the last day for continuous failures against the thundercats
