I got a question… when you get new felt (wool specifically) do you need to put hat stiffener on it at all? Or will the steam itself set the hat on the block and stiffen after drying? Thank you. Stiffener or no stiffener? lol

Stiffener or no stiffener? lol
You need stiffener for wool felt if you're using untreated wool felt cone or capeline. I recommend Gelatin or shellac to add before you steam the hat.
