Stay tuned for more Paris videos! I’m super excited to finish editing them and sharing them with you. In the meantime, check out our other Europe videos here: czcams.com/play/PLkrsEPn1nU_XC2id2EMWgVSRcRNwvHWo4.html ► VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Today we give you a detailed hotel tour in Paris! During our trip we stayed in the 9th arrondissement, which happens to be home to the Palais Garnier opera house. We booked a corner room on the 6th floor called “Sous Les Toits 2” and the architectural views were beautiful! We could even see the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre from one of our many windows. Downstairs is a restaurant called Frenchie Pigalle. The dishes were so tasty! Later we learned there are a collection of Frenchie restaurants. “Frenchie” is the nickname of chef Gregory Marchand who received a Michelin star for his Frenchie restaurant located on 5 rue du Nil in Paris. We loved staying in this neighborhood. There also was the Pigalle Cafe one block away, which is part of the Pigalle Hotel. We visited France in late November, which is considered to be low season. This room was $290 a night, but prices vary throughout the year. Generally speaking, Parisian hotels are much more expensive in the summer. Remember to pack small and lighter as possible! Elevators in Paris tend to be tiny as they were built in many years after the buildings were constructed, thus why they may not stop on every floor. 4-star and 5-star hotels tend to be more spacious. ► VIDEO CHAPTERS: 0:00 Short Preview 0:22 Checking in the Hotel 0:57 Detailed Room Tour Begins 4:24 The Phone Call 5:07 View of Basilica of Sacré Coeur 5:35 Turndown Service & Treats 6:30 Dinner at the Hotel 6:47 Scallop Tartare “Kombujime” in its Shell 7:15 Corn Sorbet & Crispy Polenta Tuiles 7:39 Roasted Cauliflower with Vadouvan Spices 8:03 Squash Mille-Feuille with Mashed Kombu 8:59 Street scenes as midnight approaches 9:27 Cafe right down the street 9:57 Sneak Peeks of Upcoming Videos 10:09 Outtakes & Bonus Footage 11:39 Detailed Look at Hotel Menu 13:36 My Arts & Crafts Note: This video was filmed in November 2022. ► Other videos you might like: ○ 48 HOURS IN LONDON: czcams.com/video/nWLCpCcYEZE/video.html ○ Must Eats of London's BOROUGH MARKET: czcams.com/video/y4f-eIRCHhA/video.html ○ French CHRISTMAS MARKET TOUR of Strasbourg: czcams.com/video/cntEhNwQGPg/video.html 😘 Subscribe to my channel: bit.ly/MissMinaYT 👕 Get my shirt: bit.ly/MissMinaMerch 🎵 Music in this video (affiliate link): www.epidemicsound.com/referral/zo01l7 🎵 Music in this video (affiliate link): artlist.io/artlist-70446/?artlist_aid=MissMina_1195&MissMina_1195&MissMina_1195 🎥 MY CAMERA & VLOGGING GEAR: www.missmina.co/blog/my-2020-vlogging-gear MORE MINA: ○ Instagram: @missminaoh ○ TikTok: @missminaoh ○ Facebook: facebook.com/missminaoh ○ Twitter: @missminaoh ► MY KOREA CHANNEL: czcams.com/users/sweetandtasty ► MY ARTS & CRAFTS CHANNEL: czcams.com/users/CreativeChillout ► MY ARTS & CRAFTS INSTAGRAM: @CreativeChillout
I always love your videos. They are artistic, relaxing and quirky, and most of all, you make the effort to either avoid filming other people or you place a sleek almond over their faces :) Last but not least, the respect you show your mom is wonderful. Insisting that she always take the first bite is very sweet. It was cute to see Mommy Oh insist that you taste the chocolate first. You both are awesome!
Bonjour welcome to Paris 🙂✌️ I visited the area before but never been inside that hotel that is a tiny elevator I'm used to seeing a fance on it not a 🚪. the 🗝 are a classic french design it would make a nice single apartment the furniture is al original handmade. a prank in past Souris mecanique a wind-up mouse but it's more morden now 😅✌️❤️

Random Fact: Firstly, I want to start off by saying you don’t mess a certain moment in time till it’s gone. ( I said this for a reason) Two years ago my grandmother passed. I loved her dearly and I became her at home caretaker. However, before this time my grandmother and I were stuck in the house due to Covid-19. It definitely hit our little town hard and everything shut down. At first it was good but over time it became very boring doing the same thing over and over again. However, I distinctly remember my younger cousin bringing his tv and showing us how to work a Firestick. Now, this is when I really started to learn how to work a Firestick. I didn’t know it had everything to man on there 😂 but it was a blessing during quarantine. During this time I remember Mina O’s channels. How she taught korean, did blogs in Korea and many other places. I began to watch her videos and mannnnnn that was the BEST TIME of my life. Before my grandmother began to go down in her health, she would watch your videos with me ( I even got her into Kdramas lol). But she loved it and it helped us pass the time. I said all that to say this, that time, as I look back on it had a very warm, comfortable aesthetic and I miss it sooooo much! Now that she has passed, everytime I come back to Mina’s page it reminds me of her. Thank You Mina and Mommy O ☺️☺️
I love your videos, ever time I feel stressed I just find a video and it seems to bye so relaxing. Your videos have a entertainment and a calm feeling. I feel so relaxed and aesthetic watching your videos. Love this! ❤
Hi Mina! Do you have a HOW-TO travel video or blog? How would I buy train tickets from London to Paris, if I am planning my trip in a different country? Do you have any tips, or what is your system? I’m trying to London, my first international and solo trip. I’m type a so I need to have everything planned and organized before. But I don’t know where to start as a person who doesn’t travel.
Thanks for an interesting and enjoyable tour. This property looks like a good option for a stay in Paris. Appreciate your work and have subscribed to the channel ❤️❤️❤️
Miss Mina, Could you make a video regarding the 'preventative care' you, and especially for your Mother, regarding eating all these very different cuisine all around the World; ...my stomach just growls watching & thinking about digesting all of that(-?).
I think I visited that church or cathedral, when I was in Paris about 30 years ago. I remember visiting Notre Dame and one other, and liking the other one more. It was just prettier inside, somehow, while Notre Dame didn't impress me.
How funny I’ve never thought of staying around Pigalle when I visit! I have to say this food looks delich from the hotel I think I might give it a go next time! I’m vegetarian and apart from the first sea food dish the rest seems vegetarian 👍🏼 I always miss Paris 💔 Looking forward to see more I too love these round windows we have in France it so dainty and pretty Good work Mina 🫶🏼 Sabrina🇫🇷🇬🇧
I agree, we are always missing Paris too! 🤩 From what I've read, Pigalle has changed a lot these past few years. More family-friendly now. As for the Frenchie Pigalle restaurant, their menu does change, so be sure to check online for the latest vegetarian offerings. A link for your easy reference: www.frenchie-pigalle.com/
@@MissMinaOh very sweet thank you Mina! I agree it has changed my best friend lives not far off in 17 arrondissement where most tourists don’t go ! So we often visit and pass by it’s a pretty cool area in its own right but in my French mind it’s still somewhere you don’t stay unless you are a man looking for something in particular 😉 so it surprised me ! I love being in a hotel where you get pass the front door your are sucked into the city with the locals esp in Paris it makes you feel part of it , Manhattan has that too this kind of energy that sweeps you off your feet in an instant 🪄 Paris is a treasure chest that keeps on giving you open a garage door it seems and inside there is a whole new world… I was born there and lived in Paris many years and visit at least twice a year and everytime I discover new things it really is a fantastic place I only really started to appreciate it when I moved away as a young adult. Next time you want to go if you need some insights let me know (go on my instagram same name) I look forward to see where you will be visiting … probably somewhere I have never been 😉🫶🏼 Love your work Sabrina🇫🇷🇬🇧
That’s not a Gooseberry; it’s a Physalis ( sometimes called “cape gooseberries) and I understand the confusion since gooseberries and currants are banned in North America for being the host of some fungus that destroys the white spruce! Otherwise it’s just lovely to be with you two; as always ❤
I was going to say! You can buy physalis in small boxes here in uk and France in most supermarkets. I snack on them all the time they are delicious Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
I hope that you will enjoy your stay in Paris despite the grumbling and persistent demonstrations in France regarding the reform of retirement age. Best regards to you and your lovely mom !!! 😉
My exams are on my head and your channel is my comfort place, I've got your videos that i binge watch. It not only releases my stress but actually motivates me to work harder and do my best. I just hope you know that you are amazing and have helped a lot of people in many different ways. If you ever feel down then you should know we all are here for you and thankful for your work. Have a great day! ( ◜‿◝ )♡
I'm grateful to hear our videos help relieve your stress! Your kind words are butter to my soul (that's a good thing because butter is sooooo good). Wishing you all the best on studies and exams! Remember to take healing breaks and treat yourself to yummy bites for all your hard work ❤
I usually like your videos but not this one. you showed too much about the hotel room which I don’t need to know. you are in Paris so show us about Paris not the hotel room. just a suggestion for future videos. thanks
Anyone else think it's weird she always travels with her mom and has no boyfriend or husband or even a female significant other if she swings that way? Then she usually only gets one bed in her hotel rooms. I've known quite a few gorgeous Asian women who were super-close to their moms and never had boyfriends. I'm not saying something is going on but... They even look and act like a couple too.
