At the forefront of subwoofer technology, Audison take lows to new heights with this active subwoofer. Capitalising on a class D amplifier's ability to drive extremely low impedance loads, the woofer itself utilises two low impedance voice coils offering an overall nominal impedance of 0.16 Ohms. This means the 400 Watt onboard amplifier can work with extreme efficiency offering mind-blowing bass for such a compact sub/amp combination. With both high and low-level signal inputs, the amplifier offers a built-in Butterworth lo-pass filter (12dB/octave) that can be bypassed when fed via a bit DSP. The APBX 10 AS is equipped with a quick release smart plug for easy removal if extra space is required!

proper deep base on this box. It`s expensive but defo the one I'm going for now.

did you find a need to deaden the panels around where the sub is?
How did you get the woofer out of the cabinet? I took all the screws out of mine but the woofer is such a tight fit in the hole I just can't seem to get it out.
Thank you for your question. We do not remove the woofer, we have devised a custom mounting system for this vehicle to avoid needing to remove the woofer 😁

I have the abpx 10 as2 400RMS one.not sure if this is the same one but what do you have the gain set too? I have mine set to just over half. bass boost at 0 and LPF around 80-100. Think it can handle higher? i tested higher gains but did not notice mus more improvment and almost sounded like clipping at 3/4.

In order to set the gain you really must do in the correct manner using the correct procedures, with the correct tools. As the method you describe is simply to risky and will likely end up in tears + broken equipment.
The source signal needs to be set in accordance with the input signal to ensure that that signal received is as identical to your source voltages output.
