I will have to be honest, in my job I cover the whole of the north of England and North Wales, but........Ive always said there is no better town than St Helens, but......................this video makes St Helens look beautiful.........
I can see my house from here! at 1:25.. The Theatre Royal, my grandma had a boarding house for the actors in Hall St. All my old haunts in one picture... I left 47 years ago...

Great vid, pity the town is a shit hole though, population has halved in the last ten years, no wonder with the council we have. Once they have built the ninety foot warehouses on greenbelt in Haydock you should video that as well as the traffic jams

I last lived in St.Helens in 1950. Very different now. I recognised the Town Hall, Beechams, Low House and the Parish Church and that's all!

The population has grown by 5,000 in the last 10 years
