TAKING OUT MY BOX BRAIDS | HOW TO AVOID DAMAGE

Today I'm showing you how to take out box braids with minimal breakage or damage. I installed by box braids as a protective style for my natural hair one month ago and decided to film the takedown process. After each braid section is removed, I coat my hair in a mix of oils. The oil is the most important part in avoiding tangles when I eventually wash, deep condition, and detangle my hair. I used a mix of coconut oil, argan oil, JBCO and mint oil.
