    I bought my 2021 Rebel 12A, 1 week ago, pretty similar to this one, Mine is a standard bed which I wanted, I didnt want the truck boxes on the side, no split tailgate I think it looks bad, monotone flame red paint so theres no black around the bottom of the truck, mine does heated rear seats as well, 12" u Connect, Air ride suspension, it had the wireless phone charger behind the phone holder as well so when you snap your phone in, it charges as well. You mentioned if you have the rear axel lock you lose the 4wd-Auto, Im going to say thats incorrect because I still have the 4wd-auto where the rebel your showing was blank. Great video as well, very detailed. All in all I LOVE this truck. very happy!

    When you open the three way tailgate sideways the bumper where the license plate is becomes an awesome step. You can literally walk right up into the bed of the truck like that. You can also set things directly in the bed. Instead of having to reach over the tailgate to place items or retrieve them. I’ve driven with long items tailgate down like normal. I wouldn’t drive with it opened sideways though. The manual says “Never operate the vehicle with the swing doors open.”

    Nice review. I love my kick step i installed that is from factory. It is easy to use and I am already a 6'4 guy so some times I forget about it and end up stepping up onto the bed is surprising not that hard on my 4x4 Laramie.

      @@DriversOnly did you drive this more than a test drive with the split tailgate? That is the upgrade I am really torn on. It is not the greatest look but I thought about a full body offset stripe to kind of hide it but would be interesting to have as I work out of my tailgate some for work. Definitely want the Ram boxes my next go around for 2022 launch and already have everything else minus the 12 inch screen because it had alot of problems when I got mine 11/19.
      That moon roof definitely makes everyone's jaws drop when they hop in the truck for the first time.

    Avoid the E torque if you value reliability. Eco diseal is nice and has great fuel economy but that engine is prone to lot of problems. If you leasing or are rich get any engine you like if you value your money get the normal 5.7 which will be the best bet.

    • @Ihateallgingers
      @Ihateallgingers Před 3 lety +1

      I’ve owned a 2017 someone totaled with it. And now a 2020. I love the air suspension. I live Missouri. Wide range of temperatures throughout the year. It can be great for lowering the truck to attach a trailer. To remove items. To help elderly people enter. My favorite use is putting it in off road two. Then sliding right under the truck to change my oil on a creeper. I maintain my trucks well and have never had an issue. 76,000 on the 2017 that was totaled and 25,000 on the 2020. Lowering into aero mode automatically on the highway is sweet too. Go for it!

    2021 Rebel interior is so damn boring now!! where the hell did the red go?? or any color other then black. I know you have still have a red option but go out and look and you'll see NONE of the 2021 actually have the red. Also it's a 1,500 dollar up charge for what used to be standard and what made the interiors so unique! If I wanted boring and all black I'd get the Laramie with a off road package, at least that would have 4 wheel auto! so flipping disappointed. I can still buy the older models used I guess?

      Power trains have gotten solid (because they don’t change) but electronics still have gremlins - I owned/own 2015 Charger SRT, 2015 Jeep SRT, 2017 300s, 2017 Pacifica, 2019 Pacifica Hybrid. While none of them have left me stranded, all had gremlins. The Charger was the most reliable, Jeep behind it. Then 300 and Pacifica sort of tied. More broke in the 300 that needed under warranty repair but Pacificas (both) have so much half baked electronics that we just live with gremlins regularly.
