    You know how the 3,4,7 and 8 are at the top of the Lishi pick,I see you picked towards the numbers on the pick edges,I just watched a guy doing it the exact opposite way,he picked say number 1 for example towards where the number 1 is missing on the outer edge of the tool,does it matter which way you do it??

      It depends on the lock and the orientation you place your pick in. if you put it in and the wafer is on the side of the number and you take the pick out and put it in upside down then the wafer will be on the side where there isn’t a number. Also another tip on older VW’s and Audi’s the wafer position isn’t the same as it is on the pick whereas on this pick the wafer position is 1,2,5,6 on one side and 3,4,7,8 on the other on older cars the position will be 1,3,5,7 on one side and 2,4,6,8 on the other
