I accidentally deleted video footage of pre-painting the plaques ready for each painting technique, but basically, one plaque is painted with silver acrylic paint, ready for the acrylic black/brown paint wash and the other is painted with the acrylic black/brown mix, ready for the dry brushing of silver metallic paint. Both plaques were undercoated/pre-painted the day before the dry brushing and paint wash were applied. :)

When pre-painting the plaques was the metallic silver watered down and done in layers or painted strait onto the plaque ?
Where can the metallic paint be bought ?
      Great video again drama 👍

I prefer the dry brush on this particular item, but washes can be useful for a lot of things. :)

I personally prefer the aesthetic of washes but dry brushing is a lot easier and more practical when you have lots of pieces to finish

Of course, you can do both and combine techniques which I think I mention in the video. This video just shows the differences between these two different techniques. Imagination has no limit. :)
