My wife and I went to Valdez over the weekend for to try to add some silver salmon to our freezer. While we were there, we had some extra time to put together a last-minute bird hunt for willow & rock ptarmigan. We were unfamiliar with the area, and were only able to explore the rock ptarmigan habitat, but we had fun anyway.
