Lullaby era was HUGE! They won 7 times on music shows. They each got to take a trophy home. The album with this is a masterpiece! They made Lullaby in 4 languages for the international fans too! Korean/English/Spanish/Chinese! Slayed! They also had 7 solos on the album and they had 7 solo mini mv's to go with the solos! HUGE! Love Lullaby era! So much fun!

JJ Project was first. They are the parents of Got7! Also a little bit of history. Jinyoung and JB were the only people in JYP history to actually tie for first place for their JYP audition for dancing! As they say the rest is history! JJP also has an amazing album called Verse 2 which came out on their 5th Anniversary in 2017. They wrote and composed all the songs. The title song is called Tomorrow,Today. Please check it out too.
I LOVED THIS!! Ok to give you some context:
1. GOT7 was the first group to debut with a focus on acrobatics/martial arts tricking, but several of the members sustained injuries while training, so you usually only see Mark and Jackson doing tricks. However, 6 of 7 members have official dance positions. Leader Jay B has a background in B-boying, and maknae Yugyeom won the dance competition Hit The Stage at the age of 19.
2. You'll often see birds in GOT7 MVs. When you take the first syllable of every word in the Korean spelling of IGOT7 (fandom name), you get Ahgase, which means baby bird in Korean. This is what most fans call themselves, and the members have fun comparing us to various types of birds in different circumstances - Jinyoung calls us shoebills lol. Our lightstick, known as the Ahgabong, is in the shape of a bird.
3. The Flight Log trilogy has A LOT of lore, and it really shows the strong bond between the members. The original explanation was removed so here's a copy of the video czcams.com/video/_0FDpexutUA/video.html
4. Jackson is not involved in their later Japanese releases, as he chose to use that time to promote his solo career internationally. He and JYP struck an agreement that he would not be allowed to promote within Korea, which is why he is not very well-known as a soloist in SK.
5. Tomorrow, Today is the first and (so far) last comeback from JJ Project, GOT7's pre-debut unit. Its album, Verse #2, is perfect in its entirety with no skips, and Jinyoung and Jay B wrote and composed every song.
6. 7 for 7 era (title track You Are) is an era from GOT7, for GOT7. The necklaces you see in the MV are based on the members' own friendship necklaces, which form the GOT7 logo. All 7 members contributed to songwriting and composition.
7: Lullaby and Miracle are both songs from Present: You & Me. This album is special because it features each member's solo song and unit groupings of different members, and all 7 members contributed to songwriting and composition. We get to see the members' range and individual colours through these tracks.
8. Miracle MV shows how the members will always be there for their fans, guiding and supporting them even if they can't be physically/visibly there for them. There is some unconfirmed lore that it's based on a young fan who died before meeting GOT7, but this has never been confirmed by the members themselves.
9. Eclipse is from the album Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity, which is focused on the constant cycle between security and insecurity, anxiety and worry. At 1:27:13 of this video, the two members at the back depict imagery of a spinning top. B-side 1° is also really good. Various members contributed to the composition and writing of this album.
10. You Calling My Name is about the identity and value given by a name, and how the members feel reassured when fans call out their name. The ending pose signifies a name tag, and the glowing letters at the beginning and bridge are bone script for "Ming/Myeong", or "Name".
11. Not By The Moon MV is inspired by the story of Romeo and Juliet, and the album name DYE signifies eternal love. Members contributed to the writing and composition of various tracks.
12. Breath and Last Piece were co-title tracks of GOT7's last album under JYPE. Some say the two tracks are connected because of the identical set backgrounds, and some say it was just JYPE being cheap and cutting costs lol. Each member contributed to the writing, composition, and directing/producing of a song. Various parts of Last Piece choreo show imagery of a puzzle piece, signifying the "last piece". The MV can be interpreted as Youngjae, the last member to join GOT7, being the last piece to complete their puzzle (he doesn't appear until the end, but it's also because he was nursing an injury at the point of filming), or IGOT7 being the last piece to complete GOT7's puzzle.
13. Encore is a single that was released to reassure and thank fans for their patient trust. At that point, the members had left JYPE, signed to different companies, and signed with Warner Music as a group. There was a lot of noise around whether GOT7 was disb*nded, but fans had faith in the boys' promise. Sure enough, they created new social media channels and released this song, albeit with zero promotion. Encore is written by Jinyoung, and the MV was produced by Mark, filmed in Jackson's recording studio. The chanting voices at the end are from actual recordings of fans' voices during their Keep Spinning World Tour.
14. After leaving JYPE, every single member signed to a different company. Leader Jay B was the last to announce his new company, because he was busy settling all the paperwork for the members to own all copyrights for GOT7, JJP, and JUS2. GOT7 is the first group in history to leave a Big 3 company as a whole group, sign under different companies, buy over all of their group and unit copyrights (without a legal battle with their ex-company!), all release music as successful solo artists, and then release a comeback with all 7 members. Keep in mind that they have 3 foreign members, who returned to their home countries after leaving JYPE. We owe everything to their strong brotherhood, as well as Jay B's determination and dedication to keeping the group together.
15. NANANA is GOT7's first proper comeback after leaving JYPE. The album name is , and the tracks are a chronological recounting of GOT7's first meeting with fans, journey together, and now hoping that fans will continue to remember them as they embark on solo journeys, at the same time promising that they will continue to release new music for us. Because all the members were active soloists, it was almost impossible to schedule and plan the comeback; all the members had to commit to putting everything aside and clearing their schedules for 3 months to make it happen. In the days leading up to NANANA's release, GOT7 held a two-day fanmeeting, and performed songs from the new album on both days. Despite knowing their performances would be recorded and uploaded onto social media at lightning speed, they still chose to do so, out of love and enthusiasm for their fans.
16. In conclusion, GOT7 and Ahgases have a superstrong bond, and we are all simps for their brotherhood lol. Please continue to support and listen to them, and also give JUS2, their other unit, a chance! You will not regret watching GOT7's variety show appearances and other content; they're chaotic crackheads that make our lives better with all their hilarity 💚
OMG this was a year ago but I read it all and it was really satisfying to read since I can confirm everything you said. I might as well put this on the diaries. It feels like I wanna make a book out of it! Like a book of GOT7s journey and all. Thank you for laying it all out for the fans who want to know their history and some clarifications. And thank you OMG for the Flight log trilogy explanation video link!! Been searching for the new one forever! GOT7 will always be my biggest and ultimate group. I don't dislike anyone, I bet most Ahgases are having a hard time with a bias line. LOL Honestly they are all too good to be true. Plus it is their utmost humility and love for their fans and family, more than their determination and craftsmanship and talent that I really love about them. All of them are like brothers in real life that their families/parents hang out together and support the members when they need it. Some parents even have personal calls with the other members that show their strong bond as a group, a brotherhood and a family. Whew I almost got teary eyed!
ENCORE makes me cry every time and it always will. It was a beautiful gift to Ahgases!

You Are is written by Jay B! 7 for 7 album. Jay B is so proud of this song and the album. One of the members Mark(USA/LA) suggested they have individual necklaces made which they did. Each of them had a pendant with something to show for each of them. They wore them to show their friendship and brotherhood and family. They still wear them. Jay B was wearing his at their Homecoming FanCon in May of 2022. I saw Mark wearing his during their MV ENCORE. They are very special. The album 7 for 7 is very special too. It is an album with their songs. The songs they wrote and composed. Can't wait till you check out their albums too. You Are was filmed in Hong Kong(Jackson's hometown)
FYI! Yugyeom and Jay B also had a unit called Jus2 which was amazing too. They also had an album and the title song was Focus On Me. The MV is stunning!

I love Got7 !!! Their group work, their sub unit work, their solo music, their entertainement skills, their dance skills, they have a great group chemistry but each member is so unique and talented. They are also one of the funniest/chaotic kpop group out there. It's so satisfying to see their evolution they have came so far...

Such a talented group of men. Got7 is funny and sweet and generous talented! The fandom name is Ahgase which means baby bird. You will see birds in alot of their later MV's and that is why.

Their debut deadass saved JYPE from Bankrupcy. If You Do was my hook into Kpop. For the longest time I was straight hating on kpop but If you do had such good choreography, visuals and vocals. That's when I listened to all their other music and i bought my first album which was 7for7.

OMG you should watch the GOT7 trilogy theory. It was confirmed by bambam that the theory was correct. And YES GOT7 knew that last piece would be their last song under JYP. We had suspicions that they were leaving already in 2019 because of all the mistreatment from the company. Hence why we sent protest trucks and the boys gave the thumbs up. Also at company meetings that all artists were supposed to attend, GOT7 never did LOL the savage kings sent a food truck in their place instead. Towards the end of their last year under JYP their music videos were literally for the fans hinting at a departure. In Not By The Moon you can see the bird destroying the forces in black and GOT7 all leave the place together. In Breath of Love and Last Piece everyone keeps hinting at going to a train station and that we the fans complete them. ALSO, my most favorite hint that the boys gave us about leaving JYP was the end of the year show LOL they performed OUT which was an inside joke between the members and fans about leaving. GOT7 quickly filmed the song Encore after their departure from JYP to reassure the fandom that they'll always be 7 for us even though they all left to different companies. (LITERALLY MAKING HISTORY and giving hope to other groups that its possible to still be a group while being in different labels and 3 different countries) Then within the following year, we got an incredible album from them.
