Both USA and Australia are good but USA has a lot more universities and companies which can be useful. If you have any relatives in the country that is also useful for the student in setting things up. @@babysunoj8103 without a doubt h1b is a big problem. Getting green card is even more difficult. The wait for Indians is very long. The only easy way is for some students who marry us citizens but I see that this trend is growing over the years. Australia may have better immigration but I don’t know details about that country.

Well if your j1 has a 2 year home country requirement then you have to come back to the home country or get a waiver from the government of that country. You can get a h1b visa if you get a job offer in USA and the employer does the paper work. It is 92000 CHF per year. I think 1 CHF is about 94 Rupees. But costs are high in Zurich.
