    Sir, is there any platform where we can search for postdoc postions. Also how we can find the research lab related to one's
    research area.

      You can search in Google or sites like indeed.com or hogheredjobs.com for postdoctoral research jobs. The foundation postdocs are known to PhD students through other students and seniors. I put many of these on my channel also in the postdoc playlist. To find a research lab in your area you have to see where the experts in your area, as revealed in your literature survey, work. This video may help.

    Respected Sir, I am a parent from Kerala. I have a doubt/query about taking up Masters in Biomedical Engineering in the year 2026. Is a country like USA or Australia the better option when it comes to studying this course, the certificate value it has, and job potential? Please reply when your valuable time permits. Thank you.

      Both USA and Australia are good but USA has a lot more universities and companies which can be useful. If you have any relatives in the country that is also useful for the student in setting things up. Many universities give importance to gre which can be important for getting admission and financial aid. These videos may help you

      Thanks a lot for the super quick reply. the one worrying or minus factor in USA i guess is the H1b visa after completing the course I guess@@Drganguli

      @@babysunoj8103 without a doubt h1b is a big problem. Getting green card is even more difficult. The wait for Indians is very long. The only easy way is for some students who marry us citizens but I see that this trend is growing over the years. Australia may have better immigration but I don’t know details about that country.

    Good Morning sir.I want to ask one thing. If someone goes to do postdoc in USA on J-1 visa then what will he do when his visa expires after 2 years? Is there any cap on H1B when transferring from J-1 to H1B? Or in this case there is no cap on H1B?

    • @Drganguli
      @Drganguli  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Well if your j1 has a 2 year home country requirement then you have to come back to the home country or get a waiver from the government of that country. You can get a h1b visa if you get a job offer in USA and the employer does the paper work. The h1b cap free visa applies to universities etc. These videos will help

    Sir what is the amount of fellowship per annum(or summation of 1st year and 2nd year) in terms of Indian currency?

    • @Drganguli
      @Drganguli  Před 6 měsíci +1

      It is 92000 CHF per year. I think 1 CHF is about 94 Rupees. But costs are high in Zurich.
