- Check it out!!!! I have for the first time ever brought almost ALL of my vintage played with old Hot Wheels cars to the review table, and there are so many I had to bring a second table into the Diecast Museum just so I could show all the bins filled with cars and trucks that I have collected over the years in my life.
Join me as we sift through around ten thousand 1/64 scale cars, mainly consisting of 1974 to 1990 Hot Wheels, but also a huge box of Majorette, Matchbox, Lesney, and few Ertl, Tomica, Kenner, and more hard-to-find collectible toys.

That would be a dream yard sale lol. Drooling over the first Majorette box you showed. I kinda enjoy wear and tear on diecast.
Wear and tear on toy cars shows that the previous owner really enjoyed it, at least that’s what I think.
@@OrthodoxPriest69 Yes, you can always tell their play style too based on where the paint's come off from finger rubbing. Also I have a redline Hot Wheels Beach Bomb I paid $10 for, it got stepped on by some kid's dad and crushed the roof who knows how many decades ago. Car is otherwise mint, like he never got a chance to play with it. I took the bottom of my own shoe (tennis shoe) and lined the tread up, perfect match on my shoe to the crush damage. Kind of neat.
@@MrWolfSnack exactly! Funny story too. I got a HW VW Golf MK2 the front axel is bent and I sometimes wonder what happened to it.
Everybody who had HW's as a kid had at least 1 fire engine in their collection, but you manage to have an entire bin full of them! Quite impressive to say the least!

What a load of diecast you have there. If I found that in a swap meet. I would definitely spend a whole day going through all of them and picking out the best looking ones. I could restore a few of those to Near Mint for my own personal collection.
Aw man!! You have the yellow pickup truck with red bed, the red square and red firetrucks, the white ambulance, the yellow firetruck, the white tie truck! I used to have all of those!! Ugh I wish I could get one of each of those from you! I played with them all the time! My dad killed a few by stepping on em... Oops!

I want the white super van in the box on the floor
I am surprised you don't have any of the cars that were made by i believe matchbox that were made to come apart in the middle. They had connecting pins in the middle on both sides. There were made so that you can mix and match and make different vehicles out of them. They even had playsets for them if i remember correctly. There was a front half and a back half. This was a series. Not sure how many was in the series though. They didn't last very long. Not sure when they came out but came out in the 80s. They did this with the transformers toy line called the micromasters where they came two different robots. I had a few license plate cars and key cars. The keys that made them go.

My son is starting to a pretty big collection of Hot wheels and matchbox cars goin. He's three and a half and we're just a little over 600 matchbox and hot wheels.. with only maybe about a handful of cars that we have two or three of the same..

Have you ever thought of blessing other small collectors with a small box of cars? You have so many and people send you great cars all the time. Yes, I am a small collector but I don't have a channel or I am not speaking out of greed. But there are people on CZcams that would greatly appreciate some of your multiple cars that you have so many of. Just a thought. I know you have said repeatedly that you don't sell any. But that would be a great way to spread a lot of joy.
Yes, RAOK. I'll never forget the guy on the old Hot Wheels Collector's Club forums that RAOK'ed me an entire Sizzlers set with cars. It wasn't in perfect shape, but it was very intact and able to be played with, it made my whole year. So very generous. I've slowly patched it up over time and repaired some of the broken bits and it looks like brand new now.

I'd say with that inventory 100 Die-Cast customizers could work for 100 years and have the greatest customized collection in the world. I saw at least a couple (dozens) I'd like to get my hands on and do in so many different ways with the same castings.

wtffor like you you don't care what condition the diecast car in I buy it unless it too far gone (Damage ,painted over ect ) and dont restore stuff unless it expensive real hard to find here in Australia It might be an exception I think I only got 5 or 6 restored vechiels

@@wtffor Ok, I understand, more or less... I still find it weird so many models just sitting there in boxes, such a big investment without much return, because everybody eventually dies, and I am also afraid for my collection because I am almost sure it wont be apreciated.
