That takes me back to my childhood, everyone called me Debbie, if I was in trouble I got Deborah. Even after all these years I still don’t like my full name, my kids thinks it is funny if they shout it, bastards haha .
My German shepherd's name is usually Penny Lou, but I use her full name (Penelope Louise) when she's in trouble, and her reaction is similar 😂

I love it when owners are actually a little angry but their dog's response makes them laugh. My dog used to do that too - I could never stay mad at her. To me, this is a sign of owners who truly love their dog, and it warms my heart.

My derby yellow Lab, Ginger, took me out playing fetch and I tore all the tendons in my right knee. The next year we were playing soccer and she knocked me down and I broke my arm. Both times she was very helpful and let me lean on her to get up. She’s been gone 4 years at age 13 and I still miss her!
They hold special places in our hearts.

sadly, Denver passed away like 2 years ago. he was big hit on CZcams. title was: Denver the guilty dog. Every time he done something wrong he would just smile. but it's most of the time, its him, just smiling and look away, when gets so excited about something too, like new toys or treat and what not. lol Also sometimes. he would smiles. when his owners comes home and has that Guilt look on his face. but just him being happy his mom and dad are back home, with him.

I know; it’s really sad that we deliberately breed disability and illness into certain breeds. My in-laws bred and showed pugs for years, and so many needed surgery and suffered because of their exaggerated and shortened faces. Many of them needed c-sections just to deliver live pups, and most of them had breathing and dental issues. I so opposed to tail docking, ear cropping, and breeding only for aesthetics. I wish we’d be kinder, but at least my vet practice won’t do any purely cosmetic procedures for any animal, and they won’t declaw cats or debark dogs, either.

Animal shaming is disguisting. The faces they are making are of pure fear, not regret. Animals respond to the owner's behaviors in the current situation. They don't tie it to something they did before.
It's pretty cruel to do to them for entertainment of the masses.

@@emmajayne9999 You are absolutely correct. People want to interpret these things as human facial cues and laugh, but for dogs this is the equivalent of crying in terror and begging for one's life.

Even better when you consider that "smiling" to us is baring your teeth in aggression in most other species. So, it's more a case of "piss off bothering me, human" than "aren't I cute and well loved?" 😂

It does bug me how many people overfeed and/or under exercise their dogs, especially when they do it because they think its cute and make up kinds of cutesy names like "he's a heckin great chonker" and crap like that. I see some people talking about how cute their cat is when its about 2 or 3 times its healthy weight.

A tired dog is a good dog. Make sure your dog gets enough exercise everyday and they will be much better when they are alone. Dogs are much easier to train after they have been exercised as well.

One morning I had to stop and fix my bike right after I delivered that paper. Next door neighbor's dog came right over, grabbed the paper, and put it on his own porch. I laughed so hard!!

I'm so lucky. I leave my dog downstairs all day and night, unattended with two garbage cans and he has never, not one time, ever touched anything. I can even leave a plate, full of food on the edge of the table or counter, he never even thinks about getting it. Damn, I'm lucky.
