I remember the suicide at my school. She was found in the girls bathroom hung herself. She wrote everyone a note. 135 notes each kid in my grade. She told me that I was the best lab partner ever. The school didn't allow anyone say her name or talk about her.

Yeah he was incredible at least his character was too hard on him to realize how messed up cam was before trying to toughen him up so that cam wouldn't feel weak or pathetic or uncomfortable with others where he'd have confidence till he failed stop and think about cam's emotions on how it triggered him to kill himself.It sounded to me that dallas not only was ashamed of being a ass hole to there but he felt guilty of pushing cam too hard all the time.But he was more remorseful on realizing that he was cold hearted bully when noticed that showing cam tough didn't help very much.It only frustrated him even more to quit and give up because of being less perfect mike should have understand his problems especially on how.much he hated hockey but he didn't Care now he understands that made it about him instead of what Campbell wanted.

I wouldn't judge you it didn't made me cry but it did hit harder cause I felt the same pain I was once angry and suicidal once before I got help I felt cam's agony it was terrible cause I use to feel confused and loss of trust from being bullied and taken advantage where it made me feel weak, hopeless and unable to stand up for myself.Cam reminded of me and if you cried it's OK most saddest scene can make you tear up cause you'll feel terrible for the one's who suffered as if you've suffered problems too it's normal. Don't feel ashamed of that we gotta vent at some point I'm grown and I cry sometimes cause I've gone through a lot and it's made me angry even disgusted of one's who I use to trust stubbed me in the back or called me names.Going through a shit load of pain hurts so much where it's the devil in your trying to feed negative thoughts in your head to break you down.It makes you feel crazy like you can't control it.

Yeah at least Dallas was remembering that he pushed him too hard where it pressured cam and made feel even more frustrated instead of helping him cope with his problems.At least he felt guilty for bullying him and making fun of him when it only made cam weaker,it was great that Dallas seen thingy clearly to how his behavior caused cam to shutdown but understood that too things too far. I knew him and his friends were trying to toughen him up but that wasn't the way to do Dallas made it worst,I'm glad he was remorseful enough to noticed that he's fucked up after cam hated hockey even being far away from home...I think even if cam went back home I think he still would have been depressed but suicidal Either way.He was still broken so things wouldn't worked for him unless he choose to get help just saying.

He was able to see his family again he just didn’t address his depression and negative self thoughts 😢It broke me when he died. I’m not a crier but when I saw the episode air, tears streamed down my face unexpectedly. It like a lost one of my best friends.
@stasysandoval1426 yeah it broke me too I think even if he went back home it wouldn't have made a difference cause he looked like he was too torn apart about everything...Dallas didn't listen to reason.He was only concerned about winning a stupid hockey game.. he was too obsessed with that,and yelled at cam for screwing up...even though getting in that fight over Mia was crazy ,Dallas shouldn't have yelled at him...he should have said like cam I don't know what's going on with you but get help or something try to resolve your issues. But he had to be a dick about it where it made things worst then easier.Tough love is what you need but not always too much of that can get a person who's already broken to be even more stressed and under more pressure cause their constantly being attacked...take it from me I got the same problems where I'm defensive at times because i feel like I'm causing a problem by mistake I would wanna go ahead and resolve it immediately so there's no more hell on me.I do my best to accommodate others to show I care without coming off as a narcissistic asshole to anyone.. but I'd try to remain humble so I don't get belittled or token advantage of for being nice...most times I admittedly try to be like superman and save prevent every problem so it doesn't blow out of portions...I do what I'm suppose to do to avoid looking like a ass or to have anyone on my back later..or to have anyone repeat themselves over an over again...in theory I try to be a problem eraser not a problem creator in my case... it sounded that cam was already weak minded or had a mental illness or something even with him gone at least God could heal his broken spirit by now even though this show his old.Still he reminded me of me.

Although he later improves a bit, he did not become my favorite character afterwards. Also when it shown he has a child since he is a teen parent later, it makes him seem even more cruel and downright hurtful on how he treated Cam. He was a teen parent and could not treat someone else’s child right? That’s why I’m positive Dallas being a teen parent was not written until later because there was no mentioned of it until after Cam was dead. Cam fighting with Dallas over Maya made sense because he was feeling insecure and it did not help Maya still being friends with Zig since she kissed him when she was not with Cam. Cam saw Maya as the person keeping him from drowning. The fight Cam had with Maya was as a result from attacking Zig. Zig should not have been surprised because even though he was single at the time that Cam hit him, Zig was still trying to be close to Maya when she was in a relationship with Cam. Cam reacted out of anger and a bit of jealousy not excusing his behavior but Maya did not mark some distance with Zig. Maya literally kissed Zig when she briefly broke up with Cam, yet Zig was still dating Maya’s friend Tori. It’s the reason Tori and Maya’s friendship fell apart because she never told her. Tori overheard, and that’s how she found out. That’s why I will never accept Zig and Maya’s relationship in later seasons or next class. Although Zig never meant to hurt Cam, I do not understand why he felt confident in telling Cam to get out of Maya’s life and that Cam was a psycho. It could be he was concern about Maya, but he had to admit he partly said that because he was still trying to be with Maya. When he asked Maya to tell Principal Simpson the truth that Cam hit him, he did not do that because he wanted the truth to be heard. He did it so Cam would get in trouble. He even smiled/smirked when Maya told the truth. He definitely wanted Cam to get in trouble. Zig character in my humble opinion never grows and learns. He later as I found out through other commenters cheats on Maya with Zoe and tries to blame her for his cheating apparently? Like really dude? You tried to break her first relationship and in a way did only to later cheat on her. You don’t deserve her. He also calls another character named Hunter psycho. Even if Hunter did something that was extreme you think Zig would learn about causing Cam to hurt himself for calling him that word, but he still calls someone else that? Did the writers think people would forget who he called psycho later on? I didn’t. I would have understood if Maya and Zig just stayed friends or grew apart. Sadly Degrassi writers shipped them together. This just caused me to feel hurt and betrayed by them 😭 I get to not blame Zig directly since he did not know Cam’s struggle but he was trying to get with his girlfriend and kind of took advantage that they were friends. He even meddle in Maya and Miles relationship. I can relate to your experience of trying to avoid problems or in my case confrontations. I do not like fighting because I’ve seen what anger does to a person because of people around me and I do not want to be an angry or thoughtless person. I mostly try to be careful not to say hurtful or blunt words because others might take it the wrong way or think I’m trying to be rude. If I do say something that is mean or too direct I do my best to apologize. I never want to make others feel the way Cam did. I’m not perfect I’ve hurt people with my words when defending myself or thinking I’m being attacked, yet I’m trying to be better. During high school when season 12 of Degrassi next generation was airing I kind of saw signs of Cam’s future, but did not think the writers would actually do it. It broke my heart hearing Cam committed suicide. I think the fact they didn’t show how he did it made his character arc more heartbreaking and it does not romanticize his actions. I was also experiencing depression during my senior year of high school and seeing Cam’s character arc end with his death made me realize to never give up. I had to keeping going even if I felt weak or didn’t love myself. I still trying to learn to love myself and I got to admit I’m doing better although I still need to improve. I still not over his death and it’s been like about 10 or 11 years 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭I saw a reflection of myself in Cam too. I’m glad I got to talk to someone about how his loss made me feel. How ironic, that they both starred on a tv show (winging it) together as best friends. I believe this episode aired after the show ended or around the same time for sure. I feel like he would have the exact same reaction in winging it, if this happened as he did in this show. Although I don't know if they were very good friends in degrassi. I haven't watched it. They just use the part "you should've done something, you did nothing" in a lot of edits for different tv shows, so I decided to research where it came from. I think he said that line very well.

I think its werid Maya got so much hate, for her response. I thought it was perfect, she was hurt but pissed and rightfully so. He did a selfish thing, could have people been nicer sure. He was breaking and it was nobody fault but his own.

He was dealing with so much pressure from hockey, he just moved, his hockey friends were fake and he hated it! He was constantly been put down, he didn't think he had anyone! His suicide was triggered because Maya (the person he loved that was keeping him alive) was angry at him, he tried to talk to someone about it but they didn't understand and Zig told him that Maya would be better off without him! What Maya did was awful, she publicly shamed him at his candle-litting ceremony for his death! She should've been more sympathetic! In not thinking about what you are doing to the people you leave behind is selfish. People could have handled him better or listened to him. then again he didnt really tell them. Even when asked directly he didnt accept help. This has happened to me in real life. Fights happen and things get said you wished didnt. It was sad and it sucks. Ending your life is not a way out. Its giving into the lie that your own life isnt important and it makes the people you leave feel not important enough to have you stay. i believe the series starts with "the streets of degrassi" however i couldn't find that on youtube...
then there is "degrassi junior high" , "degrassi high", "degrassi: the next generation" and now recently there is "degrassi the next class".
almost every season the cast seems to change as it is a new year of school starting up. one thing i had troubles with was finding out if i needed to watch degrassi junior high and high to understand all the others (i didn't want to watch them as much because they are older and not up to date and the picture quality isn't as good) however i feel that you don't have to watch degrassi junior high and high to understand the rest, but the first few episodes and the cast of the other degrassi's would make more sense if you watched them first.
