This Time: R-Tuned : Ultimate Street Racing from 2008.
The game was programmed by SEGA AM2, uses the Virtua Fighter 5 Character Models and is unfortunately arcade exclusive... :-(

Has that special arcade, Japanese style to it! Wonderful! Hard, fast, loud, colorful, in your face and technically proficient. I loved if SEGA would make anything out of their arcade heritage - bring this to PS4 (bundle with other great stuff). Lindbergh is PC architecture, right? I know, i know ... wishful thinking.
No idea why Sega didn't do it. They have a loooong history of making little of their great IPs. Maybe they're too busy milking the Total War cow or there is not enough money to be made with a port. Although it shouldn't be too difficult - the game is already finished. Why not give it to some small studio and have them do the port?
Kim Lima well one thing for sure is that arcades isn't that popular here in us, also im guessing some arcade games didn't make it to console is because some arn't well known.
i doubt they will ever release it to consoles so your best hope is for it to be emulated like some of the initial d games.

This game could be Sega's version of The Fast and the Furious Arcade with less exaggerated physics.

無制限ニトロの爽快感とハンドルが暴れる感覚が当時最高でした。
もう10年前と考えると恐ろしい。

@@MR-yd9ub コメ主じゃなくてすみませんが、このゲームニトロボタンを押してる間ハンドルが小石でも踏みまくってるかのようにブルブル震えるんです
（この動画ではカットされていますがコース選択後に表示されるゲームモード（レース・タイムアタック）選択画面ではハンドルの暴れ具合を弱めるオプションが表示されるほか、その後のロード画面でもブースト中はハンドルをしっかり握るよう注意喚起しています）
画面でもブースト中に車体が揺れることがありますが、それに合わせてハンドルが暴れる感じです それ以外については詳しくないので説明できませんが

It's just a port of Codemaster's Race Driver Grid. I'm not sure why they did it, the home version remains superior with far more stuff

last round is crazy - with some psycho D&B to go with it lol. it's like they tuned the cars' MPH to match the music's BPM.

those random cars in traffic casually doing 200km/h too... and then when you hit them from the back they spin around like a kid holding a "we buy gold" sign. then drive like no big deal.

+Iron spider Heroes I grew up in the late 70's and 80's where there was always an arcade in every mall in America..sometimes 2 video arcades per mall. It's certainly not like that anymore. Most malls no longer have them here.
There are a few specialty arcades & "barcades", but they are few and far between.
Add-on Streets of LA, Cali courses, will add it here in the game.

wooo! don't talk PS4, that time was Xbox 360 and ps3.. problem of Lindberg was CPU Pentium 4, port home console was hard because use power pc CPU, less ram memory.. but it's true.. if port PS4 will be good arcade version with better visual

Yep. Battlefield Mall in Springfield MO used to have it in a mall called Tilt, where I played this game at. Unfortunately, that mall shut down, but my dad had taken two pictures of me playing it there where I was little.

They can be a bit creepy but they’re pretty cool once you get used to them.
Even after you overtake them and come in 1st place.
Most likely based on Virtua Fighter characters, since this uses the same engine
