Reckon your brilliant speech before the game, was a pendant for us viewers even before we watched a ball bowled, and who would have reckoned with this outcome. With the way the world is going, we will probably have cricket playing weather in december. Over here in the southern parts of germany, we have had rain without end, with u Bahn stations and aircraft under water. Lets hope we can get the last few games played, even if we only have 22 overs a side. If that game is anything to go by, we are in for some thrillers
Well Keith, lost for words! What a woeful batting effort which basically sums the season up. I really wonder what is said in the changing room after these games? I know I’ve said before but the overseas is a very big disappointment this season, I’d expect much more from him & fails to deliver more often than not. I really hope some words were had & serious questions asked!
I agree with you. Considering how well we played last year, this season has been a great disappointment. The tendency is to look at the pro's performance and I'm sure he would have liked to have scored more runs but last season we had a sequence of sub-pros who were the proverbial good, the bad and the ugly so I think the under performance is more collective. As a group we seem to have simply not played as well. I'm lead to believe that words were expressed after the Norden game.
Lord’s technique is shocking. Lifts his head way too much at the moment of striking the ball. Plus Charlie goes for the sweep far too often. Clitheroe should’ve won this match easily.
Marcus, I think is 53 and is still as keen as he ever was, fitness allowing. I talked to him on Wednesday at nets and he was still pretty annoyed about the Norden game.

If I don't show his delivery action, I get accused of being part of a Clitheroe conspiracy to hide the fact that many think his action suspect. As far as I'm concerned it's a league issue. Cole bowled exactly the same when he played for Burnley.
