For those who don't know, the premise of this song (and Bao's character as a whole) is about a (true story) whale that sings at 52 Hz ("52-hearts"), a frequency that other whales can't hear as it's unusually high (for whales), so they go unheard or something like that. Table isn't an expert but that's the gist

When Bao is not screaming or making random sounds her voice is really calming and this song fits it so well. She has such a smooth and gentle tone and this song's calmness really brings out that element of her voice. Listening to this with eyes closed and noise cancelling headphones really sends any listener to another world and as the bars go by, along with the subtle whale sounds you can really picture a lonely whale wanting to find company again as it slowly sinks into the ocean. Its very soothing and I do hope to hear these types of songs by Bao. Keep up the great work be it in streaming or music, you have support from everyone in the community and hope to see more of your work👍👍👍

This song was my introduction for Bao and man... I feel like i've listened to this song 50+ in the past.... 4-5 days.
I didn't even watch bao, but yesterday youtube recommended me this song and i gave it a try, at first i got a feeling of calm, but sadness and loneliness, then after finding out about the 52 hertz whale i listened to the song with a completely different mentality that made me tear up, the feeling of calling out and never getting answers, being alone in the bast ocean where you don't belong, not knowing there is people like you and still only being able to live alone forever...

I'm studying collage, even now, at the 3rd years, it seems like I still can't get used to life far away from my family. Me with my close friends from high school are not contact each other regularly. I also don't have any friends here. And I feel so hard to communicate with people, seems like nobody would understand me. Sometimes I feel life is so hard, but I can hardly tell that to anyone but my girlfriend. She was always listen to me without complain anything. But then, we broke up, just three days after my birthday. I was broken and feel so alone. I feel so bad, but I don't want to tell my family that cause I don't want them to worry. And I have endured it for the past month. Then I found this song. It really do make me feel better, so much better. Your song makes me realize that my life is not that bad, and there are still people that can feel me. Thank you so much for this song.

If I could describe this song... It's like feeling a deep, loneliness and sadness... but hearing a gentle voice reassure you that it'll be okay. That it'll pass.
Like in the intro; she was alone for so long... but eventually, a warm and comforting presence came to hear her song.
Life is very much like the ocean; it can pull you under, and you can sink to a point where seeing the light is hard... but if you keep swimming, even if you end up exploring the vast oceans, in time, you can find your warmth and comfort is out there.
