I remember this game because Charles literally won my fantasy league for me by himself with this game. This was the last game of the season that year.

He is retired. He does indeed posses the best YPC attempt of any NFL player with over 1000 carries. He had 5 years of excellent production, both rushing and receiving.

He should be anyways. He had as many gteat years as Gale Sayers and is the all time leader in ypc. We live in an era of "running backs don't matter" and it's largely true. However, Jamaal Charles was definitely mattered. He has that insane ypc even though his offensive line was never elite and his QBs were average at best. For comparison Zeke Elliot has a career ypc almost 1 yard lower (5.4 to 4.6) than Charles and he's been behind a top 5 o line every year of his career
Still, the Chiefs are criminals for how underused he was. You would think the Chiefs would have ran more with him, but nope. He could have had 2k yard season at least two times the way he was running.
I vividly remember this game, arguably the most infamous in the history of my fantasy football league. I was up over 40 points in the 2013 semi finals only for Jamaal Charles to put up 59 points and knock me out. This game will never stop hurting.

It's so weird how certain teams have positions nailed down. Chiefs have always had RB's. Steelers have Linebackers and WR's. Colts and Packers have basically 3 stud QBs a piece. I'm sure I'm missing some but certain teams have a plethora of HOF level play at certain positions.
