NOICE 😄, yet I prefer president, because even dictators are called presidents lol😂🤣😆
Ooops Fire Ball!!! rolls a nat 20
people will lewd that elf KKKKKKK
the blonde one
At this point you can literaly classify the adventurers as s.c.p.s
I like that Evandra's deception roll was so high she temporarily convinced a dead man he was alive.
And convinced an innocent man he had poisoned the king, despite the fact the king had clearly died of blunt force trauma.
Advisor: "WHAT HAVE I DONE?!"
I love the fact that she convinced someone they had killed the king
@@jagondal8378 I think you'll find it was blunt Face trauma.
I was a part of a group once where that happened. Our cleric ended up being the same player's rogue from an old campaign that the DM had allowed to carry the character over to. Dude had about a +1million to deception from items and general buffs from the old campaign, so he was literally just lying really well to us that we were healed, or alive, or what have you, and it was excused away as the placebo effect. You can tell it was a *SUPER* serious campaign like that.
@@MattKitten omg that sounds amazing 😂
Missed opportunity.
"These tarts are poisoned!"
"Oh no, he died of a tart attack!"
Wait... The tart was a mimic?!
The king got splattered with strawberry jam when he was saying 'This is the last straw-'
A spontaneous tart attack?
@@LordDragox412
The tart strangled him from the inside.
@@Sirdeathvids This thread is a tartal farce.
Is no one gonna talk about how Kendall is literally the prettiest elf??? Long hair looks really good on him
He makes Orlando Bloom look masculine in comparison.
i know right!
I know, he really looks great as an elf.
"i will leave you to your fruity dessert" *Kendall looking at bard holding hands with a king*
You mean that *every* man looks good with long hair, right? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nixie's pointing to the painting and exclaiming, "I knew he looked different from his picture" must have really helped sell Evandra being the king.
Antrius and Nixie: "Long live the King!"
Evandra: eats a tart
DM: "Make a Constitution save."
I was waiting for that.
I mean, when have you NOT seen an advisor conspiring to kill the king?
@@zenogias01 Well there was that one Advisor using the king as a puppet in ATLA
@@camblycreeper7999 Or that one Advisor using the king as a puppet in LoTR
If the advisor actually was trying to poison the king it explains the success on a couple of the otherwise implausible bluffs.
There's luck, there's cheating, and then there's whatever eldritch forces that were responsible for those roles.
Xax'gadoth blesses her rolls
I think Eva buys her dice from the same shop Sarah from Mannshorts does.
@@katenunyabizness9221 Naw, Sarah doesn't bother with loaded dice. She just strait up tells the DM what roll she gets. (Can't load a D6 to roll an 18.)
@@jackielinde7568 Yeah, Chaz doesn't really look or care. In the episode with Sarah in a different group, everyone spots it right away.
She watched Zee Bashew's Dice Training video.
The Advisor's suspicious squint really made it for me, this is how I always picture NPCs looking after bad lies XD
Man, the elf make-up is ON POINT this time❤️🧝♂️
If he wasn't dead we would have listened to his backstory at least thrice by now.
I knew he looked different from his picture!!! (points at the woman in the painting)
absolutely floored me!!
Basically she rolled investigation pretty high so it made advantage for next deception ? XD
'The trick is to just roll well everytime.'
The best advice for all travelers.
Love Kendall's acting in this... in each episode actually. And Sam Wade with his brilliant "I'm alive!" and "I'm dead, erkh..." had me in stitches.
The intense look on the advisor's face while they're rolling deception check lmao
That poor long suffering DM. Every story he loving crafts ruined by those loot hungry murderhobos!
At this point its his own fault.
He should know the players by now and play acordingly
@@bjam89 its his own fault for not leaving the group entirely.
Well, he's not a great DM. I meanz with all the Disadvantage that grpup had, plus that you can't convince people of things that are patentedly untrue (without magic, and even then . . .) dude just clearly hasn't read the rulebook. It'd be one thing if he's really permissive (or just loved Shenanigans) but he ain't.
He's clearly the cause of his own suffering, really.
poor bard, he definitely has spells other than vicious mockery, probably a whole load of charm spells. he never gets to use them because everyone's always face-caved-in or on fire
Ruined? Or improved in every way?
"You dropped this King"
Which King did you drop?
@@MrNorker77 Caesar, with a knoife
Nixie getting worried about an obviously fake poisoning story is yet more reason to love her as a character
“Yes you did Greg”
“My name isn’t Greg!”
*rolls dice*
"My name is Greg and I killed a chicken with a man!"
Let`s stop for a moment and I just say, that Kendall looks amazing with this elven wig
Yes! I love all the costumes but this elven version is especially hot 😍
Since we've stopped... Alessia. Oh, Alessia.
Absolutely! In combination with the blue lenses - beautiful! I imagine high elves would look like that.
IKR? I was legit turned on 😍😍😍
@@terezarajnochova9256 Idk the Tiefling Marquis was pretty great too. Maybe I just like pointy ears.
Long live evandra, first of her name, queen of "1 for All".
she is a stain on elven history, not the rightful heir to the throne, stanis is
Evandra is also Fist of the Southern Stars, Breaker of Noses
*HIP HIP HOORAY*
I want to see how long she can stay King of that place. Should be fun!
I just wanna say: those ears and wig look amazingly good on Kendall. Great job!
Okay, but the king's advisor looks really good, lmaooo, the eyes, hair, jaw structure! A true elf!
Ending when she eats the tarts would have been perfect time for them to be actually poisoned
Yeah, I was expecting that as well. It would have been a well deserved cathartic experience for the DM.
DM: Roll a saving throw.
Uh oh
I thought the same thing...
Every player's dream:
"Nat 20! "
Every player's nightmare:
"What's the total?"
Im sure evandra got pretty much average charisma so she should be fine if all rolls are nat 20
It's the int and wis rolls that you can't trust with this party.
We love Nixie! The combination of the Lisp, Innocence/Naivety, and Chaotic Decisions/Fireballs. Those things all combine to make her so cute and wonderful. Even cuter then...Jester!
I was half expecting her to eat that last tart and the DM to say "make a con save please"
Ah, diplomacy. One of the most powerfull magical arts. It can make a man believe he killed a chicken with another man.
Evandra once convinced a dead man he was alive
I've heard of Greg, it was everywhere in the democracy; he killed a chicken with a man and then blamed the kings viceroy
@@vanawende3063 he was then swiftly killed by an unknown Hero
damn. last time I was this early nixie still had slots for fireball
Long Rest!
A clever DM, dealing with players he didn't like, would set up scenarios where the character's usual one-size-fits-all response backfires badly. In this case the fireball starts a rapidly spreading fire that the party has to struggle to escape.
@@hanelyp1 That was this show's first episode, IIRC.
So now Evandra's a king... There's no way that doesn't end badly.
Let's also face it. Eva weighted that dice.
5:31 "Okay Dad!"
Evandra getting the throne she deserves as the queen she is
King*
For some reason the title in that kingdom appears to be unisex.
@@yotuel9064 She's half elf they are all like that
@@yotuel9064 King being unisex isn't exclusive to fantasy worlds. Women can and have been kings throughout history. Queen doesn't just mean female King.
One of Poland's most famous monarchs was King Jadwiga.
@@SkandiTV As I recall, several Pharoahs were female as well.
Did you just Assume Evandra's preferred titles and Pronouns? (ITs a joke)
I *LOVE* the "he's had a heart attack" deception - I'm soooo gonna use it when I can in the games I'm playing in 🤣
I've already done it; the body I pointed to didn't have a head. For some reason that deception didn't work...
I nean, technically, it's not the stab to the chest that kills you: it's the heart failure afterwards.
So technically correct.
@@zenogias01 the best kind of correct
yep. My next character will be such a liar!
I like how Evandra was accusing a man of murder and Nixie was just casually eating a tart.
Wow, she convinced him that he was the killer, and an imposter of himself...
Elven Patrick have no business being that hot damnit.
considering Evandra's charisma... this was a lot of nat 20s! Eva must have the luck stat maxed!
Loaded dicd
The karma from all those nat 1s have really paid off
@@meoff7602 I think you mean carefully selected and trained dice.
@@Znijik or u mean the die that follow its master's heart
@@Znijik So that's what I've been doing wrong.
4:13 Nixie's excuse for every murderhobo moment.
Antrius' face when Kendall said "I'll leave you to your fruity desserts" was incredible omg
Of course he wasn't the king. His name was Annendale, not Jerald.
all hail the dark lord
@DanRage47 On the contrary, Annendale was such a good servant that Xax'gadoth made him a king!
Scooby-Doo reference deserve cosmic respect! I wasn't expecting such reference.
I’m just picturing Pat glaring at the dice during all of these deception checks.
"We didn't steal this bit from Door Monster!"
*Rolls deception check*
To be fair deception taken to it's logical extreme is around this level of ridiculousness
Nixie: "I knew he looked different from his picture!"
Me: died with a tart face
Antrius' little quips whenever the advisor used past tense and morbid expressions make it all the funnier.
Missed opportunity
3:25
"You must try some, its to DIE for!"
Never say die! - Antrius, probably
This is gold, a masterpiece even. Love Kendall facial expressions, you guys are wonderful actors/actresses!
Ahh yes, the "Weekend at king Bernadius'"
All I know is, I want to live in that castle at the beginning. I wonder how much it costs?
@@DolFan316 A king's ransom.
Doesn't the bard have disguise self? I see an easy way to get out of this. Potentially. The keyword there is "potentially".
Edit: What in the actual...
lol you do remember bardic inspiration? and when they used it?
I feel for this DM, even if it is a parody. Never have I seen a campaign utterly derailed.
Love how Nixie is just checking around.
"I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed."
Mufasa? Mufasa? Is this you? Why do you work for Kendall now?
That line was pure gold
It was quite fun to say 😜
@@ryanash5229 OMG it was you!!! Awesome acting man, I could feel all the disappointment 💪💪
This reminds me of the Diplomacy sketch from Door Monster.
"Yes, you did, Greg!"
"My names not Gre-"
*Dicerole*
"Oh my god, my name is Greg!"
EDIT: Yeah, okay, I see now that you were heavily inspired by it.
5:58 plot twist, the one she was eating was actually poisoned
4:50 - Evandra: Ace Attorney!
This Elf must have negative wisdom.
They don't call them dump stats for nothing!
So his role as advisor is to have all the bad ideas so they aren't accidentally implemented?
his mother was very clumsy ... dropped on his head, he was.
Yeah, kind of missed those WIS and INT saves. Also, kind of illustrates why Nixie is always out of spell slots.
@@daviderwin4705 Nixie is Tiberius.
But also, one of these people is Will Weaton, (the DM) while the other is Talisen Jaffe (Eva). has to be to roll so high and be contested so low every time.
Well that escalated quickly.
Poor GM having a mental break 🤣
If the GM isn't having a mental breakdown every game, the players aren't trying hard enough.
Reminds me of when I was disguising myself as someone else and came across the person I was disguised as, so I rolled a successful Deception check to convince him that he was the fake and I was the real one.
A perfect example of why you don't allow auto successes on skill checks and why you don't give skill checks for everything if its ridiculous. LOL loved the video as usual
Long live the king!
long live the queen
HAIL!
how do you even exist in the youtube.
Sorry, we judge for nothing.
Similar thing happened with my players and a guard captain. They somehow managed to Weekend at Bernie's it until they got out of town and ditched the body. If only their rolls were that good in combat lol
Real Life Nixie looks really good in that outfit!
Evandra must know that with so many exceptional roles there will soon be a rebalancing with the dice. The dice are a cruel mistress.
Was expecting a Fireball at some point.
I kind of feel cheated somehow...
probably still out of spell slots from last episode..
@@witerabid Long rest.
@@lochthefox6397 Good idea. Haven't had one in a while.
No fireball from Nixie? It is cheating!
Nixie's reaction is the best.
Since I don't feel like having my face caved in... Long live queen Evandra, first of her name!
Not gonna lie, but elf Kendall looks so handsome😅😅😅
Loving this episode! An ode to those super lucky players with awesome rng(or loaded die) 😁😁😁
Elf Kendall should seriously be a thing on Onlyfans.
@@DolFan316 didn't he make a joke in the first episode of the season that he had an onlyfans?
The DM should've at least given them disadvantage.
I think the advisor actually was plotting to kill the king with poisoned tarts. And apparently the guards didn't actually know what the king looked like. Possibly guards who dare look him in the face get severely punished.
I honestly don't think it would have made a difference for Evandra's clearly loaded dice. It was like she was rolling non stop nat 20s.
From all the Deception Faces 4:55 this one was from afar the best! Such a mexican soap opera hehehehe
the advisor snapping his fingers and showing the guards out fucking killed me. 3:41
/snap/ *We outt boiiiis*
Just roll well every time... Every DM's bane, and there is one in every group. But when the crit, oh, when they crit... 😈
ngl would be funny if in the last scene where she's eating the tart, it was actually poisoned
Looks like Annandale has been doing well for himself. From Warlock to King? Crap, this is just going to add more to his backstory, isn't it.
3:13 we've unlocked knew meme face
This reminds me of a sketch Door Monster did, it was called 'D&D: Diplomancy'.
I will say that I was half expecting the dead king to go on a monolog about his warlock patron...
Oh... And Eldritch Blast!
Every time I see Eldrich Blast I can only hear Travis Willingham's voice.
I was expecting the tarts to be actually poisoned in the end.
2:11 it's....Annandale? The vessel of Xax'gaboth's infinite Wisdom.
It's King Jerald, with a J.
DM having a breakdown is a mood and a half.
5:42
Be honest, how many times did you have to redo that roll?
"You kill the king!"
"no u"
*deception check*
"Omg, what I have done!"
"Oh my gosh, you killed Greg!"
-Door Monster reference
5:26 This is what happens when you get roll very high and you can get away with the most bullshit of lies
Loving the dice noise behind the elf thinking
This has been my favourite episode so far! Very humorous! Scooby-Doo reference, memes, zooming in every time for the advisors reaction, it's just perfect! Well done!
When rolling the dice kills the plot 😂😂😂
The king’s study of ThEaTre is most apparent in this scene.
the dm biting his fist is great
I thought for some seconds that they failed all their check but that the advisor was happy that the king died and would let them escape. Well, I guess mind control by deception check is still a good classic.
At the end I was expecting Evendra to say, "It's good to be the King."
I really like the clackety sound of a die being rolled in the background as the skit plays out. It's a small touch, its a small touch but an awesome one
Just think: Patrick has to play along with all those successful deception checks!
Ah yes, good old Diplomancy. Can't believe Greg killed the man using a chicken
Is it just me, or does it seem like whenever anyone tries anything like really stupid and/or crazy that they roll really well. It’s like RNGesus smiles upon a player’s antics
its the universal law brother. the more stupid the idea the more probably the gods of luck will side whit you
Praise RNGesus! Blessed be the Rolly Spirit.
That's easily the strongest string of Deception rolls since Sir Bearington the Bear. Wow.
"You dropped this, king" lmao.
Ah common DM mistake. At some point you really need to learn and just say "no, you can't do that" to your players' shenanigans to prevent reality-warping madness.
But... Please?
Isn't reality warping madness basically what the game is all about though?
@@zeroblade6599 not amount of roll will pull of such a crazy stunt as the one they did
@@zeroblade6599 There is a line they put in the 5e DMG (I'm pretty sure it wasn't in previous editions) where you should never ask for a check if the action can neither succeed or fail.
If she rolled 20 in the end - that's the rules of the game, of the universe. You don't follow stupid d20 rules all the time EXCEPT when it inconveniences you as a DM - what's the point of the game then?
Reminds me of Door Monster's Diplomancy skit towards the end
Someone killed Greg!
same i had the exact thought when seeing it!
@@user-kv8wk2qm2n My name is Greg and I killed a chicken with a man!
Guys and gals, you are just great! Having played pen and paper role-playing games, when I watch your videos I have always to think of the paradoxical situations which were popping up and making everyone roll laughing under the (gaming) table 😂
"I knew he looked different from his picture!" (I'm about to die laughing here. XD)
'And there'll be more fan-service next time too!'
