@@baziwan9407 Neither vehicle was stationary. Both of the vehicles he crashed into were moving. The trucks shadow against the car makes this clear and the cars front tyre moves in relation to the road stud next to it. Still the biker at fault though.

I can't watch this stuff anymore. For the most part bikers who just don't know how to behave in traffic. Sometimes you just have to brake or let someone in your lane instead of reving the poor engine all the time.
Yeah a lot of this could be avoided. Lane splitting through multiple cars at a fast speed and then suddenly surprised when someone decides to change lanes is kinda ridiculous.
It's the fact that bikers are so vulnerable and other drivers live in their own little bubbles with no concern for the safety of the people around them. They don't look when they pull out, they text and drive, they refuse use their mirrors, it's complete chaos for someone on two wheels. Sometimes the bikers are at fault and overreact, sure, but a lot of the time it's the drivers who are causing the problems.
Edit: Point being 7:06. Merges through white stripes with no blinker onto a highway without even checking the mirror. Given, it was a BMW and the blinkers seem hard to find, but come on.

Angel or Not: Illegally filters in a state that doesn’t permit it, yet proceeds to tell others how to drive.
Also at 3:31 gives truck a bad time, but vehicle code states you are supposed to get tight to the curb on a right turn...the vehicle in front had left a full lane and kinda screwed up the turn with Angel or Not following along. The truck was in the right.

Of course, if a vehicle IS parked in the spot then the closest to the curb is next to the parked vehicle. The point is to discourage bikes and scoots ( and other cars) from getting into the suicide squish lane.

I understand that lane splitting in some areas is legal but when you do it and you are speeding then you need to take some responsibility for what you are doing. .
For whatever reason, some riders like to convince themselves that all lanesplitting is legal everywhere. Even though thats not the case, and its never legal to lane split at excessive speeds.

I've been watching a lot of these videos lately, and as a former Motorcycle safety instructor in the state of Texas, I can tell you that 95% of all of these interactions could be avoided if the Rider wasn't riding like an asshole. And if the rider applied a little common sense, being the simple fact that cars are big, they have blind spots, bikes can be hard to see sometimes, and a car will always win in a collision. I wish motorcycle safety was a mandatory course needed here in the states in order to ride, it would save so many lives a year.

Even though, rewatching the clip, the biker is not at fault. The car changes lane on the lines trying to overtake the truck and it starts doing that even before the cars of the lane it's moving in are visible. So ye driver's fault in this case.

Insurance is so stupid sometimes. Currently fighting our insurance because they're claiming the car isn't registered to the right person and both of our registration papers say the right person! 🙃
Have to get an attorney... I had a truck go through a red light and broadside me. The driver admitted he was at fault he was playing with his phone... all on the police report. Their insurance (Progressive) refused to pay for my totaled vehicle or medical bills, trying to make up some crap about my vehicle already having prior damage and wasn't caused by the wreck, contrary to witnesses and police report. I fought with them like a month... Had to get an attorney, and within a few days they agreed to pay out max claim on the insurance.

well what most bikers conveniently forget is there are strict rules for lane filtering. Traffic is suppose to be nearly stopped and you shouldn't filter above 25 mph so you can easily stop if you have too. Many bikers instead treat it as a free pass to speed through traffic and get to their destination seconds sooner.. not worth it

The riders in these videos need to take a defensive driving class and learn to watch out for other drivers they are NOT going to look for you or pay attention to you be on alert at all times if you see someone getting ready to pull out or change lanes always assume they aren't looking for you and either slow down so they can pull in front of you or speed up and get in front of them. Most of these videos are on here because the rider refuses to slow down or speed up as a car would then get pissed when someone almost hits them sure the law says to look out for bikes and all that but let's be real a motorcycle is an unusual way of transportation (I live in a city with a population of 150k + and have maybe seen 75 bikes on the road) and most people aren't going to be looking out for one so it's up to the rider to look out for cars.

Arizona takes its insurance more seriously than even having the number plate current. I missed a month, and the AZDMV notified me that my plate was suspended. I have 5-year plates on both of my bikes. I quickly took care of it and felt the love again.

- Avoid splitting in lanes near freeway on-ramps and exits.
Guidelines for motorists:
- Motorists should not take it upon themselves to discourage motorcyclists from lane splitting.
- Intentionally blocking or impeding a motorcyclist in a way that could cause harm to the rider is illegal.
- Opening a vehicle door to impede a motorcycle is illegal.
