Mulberry Hill is a heritage-listed home in Langwarrin South, Victoria, Australia. It was the home of the writer Joan Lindsay and her husband Sir Daryl Lindsay from 1926 to 1984. Joan was known for writing several books including her most popular novel "Picnic at Hanging Rock." Joan Lindsay left the house to the National Trust when she died. It is owned by the National Trust of Victoria and is open to the public.

Yes, they asked us to take shoes off so that they can preserve the floor boards. Firts time I ever had to remove our shoes.

Hello Friends! Wonderful opening music and you two walking always enjoy your openings. We enjoy looking through Victorian houses this was a very nice tour. Love how they maintain and restore homes like this and tours like this where you can see what it looked like years ago with the furniture and other miscellaneous items. Nice video

While I have heard of the book "Picnic at Hanging Rock" its not something I have read and could not have told who had written it. Interesting to learn a little more. Great to visit another protected place with a story to tell. Best wishes to you both.

The book teased many people into thinking it was a true story even though aspects of the story were based on aspects of earlier years at school.
The story still remains a mystery and the film is an Australian iconic. Glad you enjoyed it.

You both do such a great job giving info as a tag team. I usually do very quick facts because I can’t remember everything or I start laughing. That’s why I do those as voice overs, but the plan is to eventually do those while I’m at the location. Is it me or did the 1800’s make everything so much prettier.
