What an absolute legend of the game
Steenson is criminally underrated. Heck of a player with a mean boot and a great attacking style. Lovely guy in person, too, whom I had a great time meeting when I used to work for the Exeter Chiefs. Great work!

Definately would have gotten 50+ caps if he'd stayed in ireland. Class player
@@jacobgodwin5418 stevenson would have been the sub. Plus, stevenson has more of a running game so more of an option to change something late in the game. Seeing how ireland didn't have any real quality backing up Sexton following rogs retirement, would have been in every squad

@@ronansavage7918 Fair enough. But this video is about G Steenson. And I never understood why he wasn't selected for Ire. Incredible player. I don't rate Sexton at all. Great organiser behind the 2018-2019 Ire pack, but offers nothing without that go forward IMO.
@@sebclement6253 unfair, he’s obviously past his best now but for the best part of the decade he was arguably the best 10 in the world. Remember how incredible Schmidt’s Leinster were to watch with their backline, free flowing rugby. Large part of that was due to sexton.
