But we all know they stopped following the comics with the way Shane died every since then, They wanted everything to be different on screen so its not predictable which makes for better television.

Yep, I forget that sometimes but Maggie and Daryl saved her life when she was first born so they’re like second parents to her.
Judith had seen Pamela at target practice so she ran to push Maggie out of the way and took the shot that was aimed at Maggie, probably because Oceanside and Hilltop followed her. Good thing that Tommi is a thoracic surgeon and now we have a major character with a shoulder or chest wound.
In the background of several scenes of Pamela’s office, she has awards for marksmanship and we saw her in the episode that introduced Sebastian with either a huge shotgun or elephant rifle and making excellent distance shots in a later episode when she has a ‘hunt’ with Maggie. It’s also implied that Pamela wanted to be a sport shooter but was brought into politics when her father became president. They packed a lot of details into this season, would have been better without so much with the Reapers in part A, but there are lines that tell us that Connie was a congressional and possibly White House correspondent and that she and her family knew the Miltons, that Mercer and Max’s father was a general and Mercer was a West Point graduate.
“You are so loved” and “daddy?” Had me bawling my eyes out! This episode was incredible!

Aaron telling Lydia that broke me. He was NOT a fan, almost out of character straight mean to her more than anyone (well except Gage and the Highwaymen assholes). So for it to be him giving her the advice about Elijah, yeah that was sweet but FOR HIM to tell her "you are sooo loved" had me sobbing 😭 it was beautiful and felt so real. Beautiful portrayal from Ross.
When Aaron says that to Lydia I BAWLED like a baby! After all she went through with her mother. She has a family now that truly loves her

I was devastated to see poor Lydia get bitten and Judith taking the bullet to save Maggie's life from Pamela. This episode it me right in the feels.

Remember when Maggie saved Judith from childbirth back in Season 3? Years later… Judith saved Maggie from certain death… even if these full-circle moments were unintentional, it just goes to show how even early season’s & their moments are coming into play in this final season. An amazing episode & one that moved me to tears. Fully excited but nervous of the series finale!
And Carol saved her too.

For some reason Judith said “Daddy.” The best way this ends? Judith loses consciousness and at the end she finally wakes up, and somehow Rick is there, and she calls him Daddy. The series finale NEEDS to be worth the wait. The best thing would be to see Rick and Michonne.

@@lewis0705 you don't know that. the finale air time is 1hr 40 min long and there's a supposed time jump. the crm will get involved in the finale, that's most likely the rick connection.

my whole point was that we werent gonna be seeing rick/crm in the episode as a plot point.

That Ezekiel/ Negan convo was EVERYTHING. Also, if Jerry dies because he went back out for Elijah, I'm gonna be pissed.
I got a feeling Jerry will discover Elijah as a walker. Just seeing Luke and Jules and not seeing Elijah makes me wonder now.
So Carl and Judith took bullets meant for someone else. This episode is the culmination of all their previous big bads, and it is awesome to watch!
Rick was actually using whisperer techniques and was the walker that got into the jeep. He then made it all the way in the commonwealth and Judith saw him in the crowd of walkers as she was being carried by Daryl. “Daddy” as she said. He makes sure Daryl is able to get her to safety. He reveals himself to the group that is surrounded, taking off his whisperer attire, he reveals the murder jacket. Absolute mayhem breaks out. True Rick is back to save his family. Cornered Pamela takes Ezikel hostage, but Michonne is in the rafters waiting to strike. Jumping down, sword in hand the Milton’s are no more. Ezikel lives.
Daryl gets Judith to Yumicos brother in which he saves her. However Daryl is sacked and taken away by an unknown entity. Though Rick got his family back, he lost his brother.
We then see shots of the aftermath and the Union they come up with. Some amazing scenes with Mercer doing his work. A call back scene where Rick is sitting with Judith as he did with Carl, then a small time jump. Judith fully recovered. Carol as the new commonwealth Governor, Rick back at Alexandria with Michonne, RJ, and Judith. Jerry, his kid and wife with Ezikel starting a new kingdom. Of course Gabriel goes back to start a church at Alexandria with his daughter. We get a shot of him mourning Rosita who gave the ultimate sacrifice to save her child. Lydia and Elija set of to get Daryl in anyway they can.
Post credit scene - Daryl contacts home and finally finds out Rick is alive and Judith is okay. With the final line being “I’m coming home brother” -Daryl
This is what I want, I know it’s not happening but my goodness it’d be the darndest coolest thing ever.

I know someone that knows a scriptwriter, who took some images of some early scripts. These might have been changed, but essentially the CRM is the one that brought variant walkers to the Commonwealth along with the horde. Their goal is to take over the Commwealth, no more Lance had sped this up a bit.
Rick is leading on the front lines commanding the CRM takeover, not knowing his group is there. We don't have that many scenes with Rick interacting with the group, he's only shown closer to the end, and then again after the time jump (post credit scene + Michonne).
There's more in-between all of that but it's just a basic summary and it's not even 1/4th of the script. The second and last post credit scene is a teaser scene for Rick's show.
This is the first episode, his talk with King E, that I started to consider Negan redeemed. He is actually owning up to his actions. Maybe having his own family to lose finally gave him some perspective. If King E can get past things with him, as much of an angel as he is, then that says a lot. Maggie hearing their talk makes her teaming with him for the spin-off, make more sense.
He's been owning up since the start of season 10 but yea now he's expressing it more instead of trying to hide away his feelings.
And the whole daryl carrying judith was a throw back to rick running through the field when carl was shot in season 2
For me, Negan redeemed himself when he, alone, ran after Judith during the snow storm.
And Dog! Not even one of the OGS went after her!!!! Family... pffff. And he saved Maggie a couple of times, and Hershel. And Lydia. And Aaron. And killed Alpha. And helped Daryl to kill Betta. And grew some freaking amazing tomatoes to feed the family. Lol
Well, can't wait for their reaction to the finale. In all 11 seasons I haven't cried a single time, but bawled my eyes out during the finale.
I HAD GOOSEBUMPS WITH THAT INTRO. The mini reunion of Lori, Carl, Michionne, and Rick. The way Judith put Rick's hat on RJ and how RJ looked up. GOOSEBUMPS! And that was just the intro. If this is how amazing the penultimate episode is, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FINALE!!!
My mom says since Judith pushed Maggie out of the way and took the bullet for herself she is just like her father and she doesnt think they would be panicking like that is she got shot in the shoulder
And I thought I was the only one who misses Abraham! He was my favorite after Rick! Would've loved to see his and Negan's interactions.

As a stand alone episode, this was pretty good, as a setup for a finale though, I'm worried, I don't think we're going to get a satisfying or decent ending at all😔

I don’t know why you would think there would be one?An ending. I don’t think that it’s supposed to be seen as an ending. It’s the last episode for this flagship. But the story will all be left on a cliffhanger I think it’s the only way. And then we’ll see what happens in the Daryl continuation following his story and then whatever happens in the cliffhanger will see how that goes with Maggie and negan

Judith saying "Daddy?" Gets me every time. It's such a gut punch of a reminder that she's just a kid. She's just a child who has gone through and lost so much. She's scared and confused... And just wants her dad. Heartbreaking.
This episode made me sooo emotional. I’m so not ready for the show to end. And yes! I totally agree with Negan being fully redeemed. It drives me nuts how my aunt still refuses to continue the show since Glenn died. Even though I’ve told her it’s gotten even better since then and Negan has redeemed himself. 😂😭 Also I watched til the end. 🐬🍆💦

My theory is that the amount of variants we now have is because that's what left after rounding up herd after herd and pitching them off cliffs.
Nikki and Steve, I read about the deleted scene in the final episode. After Daryl rides off, there's a van powered by corn or whatever in Atlanta where Rick rode the horse. A guy and girl are there with a few others. The guy gets on the radio and says "Hello...is anybody out there? This is Rick Grimes" The man sending that message is RJ and the lady is Judith with the other children that are now adults. Before the screen fades to black, a message comes back "Hello?" This is around a 10yr time jump.
Like rick said to Deanna in season 5 this goes for other places in the world that have Walkers also he told Deanna it doesnt matter how good u think this place is secure they always find ways to get in he was right

Walkers/herds in alleyways and streets are so scary and stressful. I get a heart attack everytime, like in season 6 with Glenn on top of the dumpster. I used to play the Walking Dead: Survivalist Instinct game and purposefully attract a large amount of walkers just to trap me in an alleyway and I figure out ways to survive.

It is impossible for Judith to die. She is just following in the footsteps of her father and brother. Every Grimes is shot and survived.
But Judith writes a diary (she did in the Whisperer season), which Carl did in the comics. Therefore, it is very possible that she dies and someone just reads her diary.
No way she dies. 100% believe she lives until the end. At the very least, she won't die until she reunites with Rick and Michonne. If not, it'll be worse than killing off Carl.
I say that if Judith thinks Shes seeing rick that was mean she’s in pretty bad shape

My issue with Negan and with everyone that says if we’d met him first is: 1) Rick never made his followers say they were “Rick” to hide himself 2) Rick didn’t tell his people to kill one of each new group’s people to make them fall in line, and 3) Rick didn’t have a class system where some people were not only workers ant also extendible. OH and Rick didn’t have a harem. A coerced harem at that. Rick has his faults. Negan’s are megomeniac.
See the thing about storytelling is if the story was told from Negan’s point of view, the story would be told for the audience to understand it and side with it. Unless they told a main story from a villain’s point of view, writing would make Negan’s way make sense to the audience
Rick was hitting on a married woman Jesse the same way Shane was, Rick made baby Gracie fatherless over an assumption, Rick slaughtered captured saviour workers even after they helped him and Morgon remove their restraints and find their weapons. Rick slit a dude's throat who was trying to save his brother from the saviours and proceeded to save him from the outpost anyway making that death meaningless. Rick killed people indiscriminately in the satellite outpost and we were shown in the following season that a good amount of them were just slaves/workers like Alden who was loyal to Maggie. We can go on and on about who did what and Negan may of done bad deeds but in comparison to literally every other villain he still was capable of changing and Rick was the reason for that. Seems you have an issue with certain fans not Negan because he literally acknowledges he will never be better than those he waged war against. Negan's change and development is part of the good that Rick is trying to bring back into the world.
Usually a 'I'll be right back' moment means that character dies in this show, but here they basically had a good bye moment with so many characters that now it's hard to keep track who might get killed. ^^

Judith pushed Maggie out of the way of the bullet to save her I imagine it's her way of doing what carl did, Carl died saving people and I believe that was her thought process be like her brother Carl and save people in this case Maggie from a bullet that may have killed Maggie so she saved a life.

Common Wealth showed up S8 ep 11 the lady in the van who gave Maggie, the key to the future think Pamela, may have taken over within those years between Rick, vanishing.

The Way that Daryl carried Judith. Reminds me the episode where Rick carried Carl after he got shot.
I think that episode was very awesome. Not because of the tragic way things turned out. But more that we as viewers can feel the pain and anger the characters have in the episode

Judith getting shot was an homage to when Carl got shot, she mentions Carl several times throughout the episode.
