Good Poetry doesn't mean perfect qafiya, radeef or behar, it comes from the pain and feelings. She has written in a such a wonderful way...
Strongly disagree. It must be a good thought, the way she recites is also well and worth praising. But after the amaad (poetic prophecy) one needs to be craft it. We poet do a lot of home work for that
She gone viral because she was already in limelight. And it's not her fault.
Let me give u an example. I love to dance. I know the basic step. I will move accordingly with the music.
But if I will dance out of beats. Or if I will sing out of rhythm. Than my art will be judged accordingly.

From Lahore. We dint understand ppl like Bade Ghulam Ali n Mehdi Hassan until we heard rhythm of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Guess why? Coz we felt that Nusrat understood us n gave what we the children of 80s n 90s wanted. His beat n rhythm made us love Qawalis.
Few years later Shafqat Amanat came n made us understand what rags n thumris are. So these singers acted as teachers for a generation like us
I think Yasra will be a good teacher poet for my generation coz she is from our generation and we can feel connected to her personality n words. Keep it up girl.
