Thanks for your patience ladies and gents! The lightning we had earlier did something when it struck and my internet speeds are still below where it should be. The video quality will get better (1080 and 4k coming) with a bit of time as it's still processing but I wanted to get this video out as soon as possible to make up for lost time!
I have the clone prawn in a bigger size but they are the best lures I’ve ever used caught giant flatties on them and lots of them too but I have the other prawn in a yabbie colour and never really caught anything on them
That's a really good haul of bream. How you film everything, dodge snags and land the fish all at once is amazing! 👍

I fish prawn imitations at least four times a week. They all work. It’s more about how and where you fish it than the actual lure. But my take: 1 Eco Gear Aqua Bream Prawn; 2 - MMD Soft Prawn; 3 - Zman PrawnZ, 4 - Rapala Imposter, 5 - Chasebaits Curly Soft Prawn & 6 - Pro Lure Clone Prawn.
Awesome stuff Mudguts, that's a good take on the popular offerings out there. Everytime I tie on an Ecogear Bream Prawn I feel like a kid in a candy store lol

another great vlog Shroom plenty of action with the bream, can I ask with the jig heads is there a trick as to what size jig head you use for certain species or flow of water
Thanks John. There is a lot of things I consider when selecting a jighead weight. In general the best sink rates and lure flutter is achieved with the lighter weights up to about 1/20 and then the action starts to faulter. Mood of fish also taken in account as fish that aren't hungry aren't likely to chase a fast moving lure but one that's right in their face floating for a second could initiate a strike. Sometimes if the lure is too slow, they ignore it, in particular if the current is quick and the fish are moving faster. That's for fishing in general and more difficult to tempt species like bream or jewfish. Others like tailor or flathead and pelagics get triggered by quick movements so heavier jigheads work well. Ive noticed even jerking a plastic quickly but has a light jighead with a slow flutter the fish are less likely to strike on the pause. I hope that helps!

Hi mate have you try the TT switchblade 44mm and TT Switchprawn 44mm lures? I heard that their a fish magnet.
I've used the switchblade and ghost blade before but yet to try the switch prawn I think
Ever see a 530mm bream 😂 lol. You could get mor than ya bargain for lol 😂. Hint re verse hook get a large jig head cut hook off use as tow point then run Dacron from 90deg add pin s as eye's use number 6 hook re versed under tail. Watch what happens lol.
No I actually haven't seen a genuine over 50 bream, biggest I've caught was 47.5cm and that blew my mind how big it was!
Note this system is better than weedless. Yeah. Truck yeah.

why not a common paternoster rig with a sinker to aid casting and 2 plastics where the hooks go with jigheads@@ShroomFishing
