Very nice vdo.....i too have lot of white rain lillies ......they bloom only in rains .....i got white / yellow/pink three colours.....i too store rain water for my indoor plants....rain water is distilled light water free from salts n quickly absorb by plants

I take care of my rain lily plant like a kid but from 4 years no flowers i kept it in the rain but still not flowers 😢😢😢
Keep it in bright sunlight in rainy season, and give it banana leaf fertilizer and also rain water.

Hello, no problem you can sow them in red soil as well... Just try to keep soil moist not soggy.

You should plant them in spring or before sping, it grows well in summer. I would not suggest you to grow it in winters

What was that base u put in pot which decompose later and give nutrients to the soil?
Dry leaves, some roots of old plant etc. You can put any that decompose. And yes, it gives nutrition to plant, when plant's root will reach the base.

If your plant is growing leaves, then your plant is healthy, it just needs some fertilizer. You can add banana peel fertilizer, it will boost your plant to grow flowers.

I have tried so hard to find rain lily in local nursery as wel as online but the thing is online plants doesn't survive and local nursery doesn't even have them here in sikar rajasthan... I wish I had this plant ...
Ohh, but many people buy online plants. Rain Lilly plant grows from the bulb so you can buy its bulb online.

Ap usme koi liquid fertilizer dalo, jese ki gobar ke kando ka, sea weed solution ka ya fir kele ke chilko ka pani bhi dal sakte ho inme se jo apke lie possible ho wo dalo or sath me rain water collect kr ke dalo fir jarur aenge fool.
