This will kill word of mouth. I've been a Dune fan for 30 years and have been the living version of the Hawkeye "Don't give me hope." Then the algorithm led me here a few months back and you have built my hype. WB's conduct is reprehensible, period. Keep up the good work man.

I am absolutely more of a Dune fan thanks to Quinn's fantastic content. I've been intrigued by the Dune universe for years, but had a hard time making it through the physical books. I finally made it through the audio version, and that coupled with Quinn's videos has thoroughly brought me into the Dune fandom. Quinn does an amazing job summarizing and contextualizing this universe, and his excitement and enthusiasm is so infectious. I'm behind you all the way man!!!

Which would never be enough to generate sufficient revenues for the company, to be satisfied. And the hype-monkeys who WILL show up for that knuckle-dragging Mamoa, and the pervy-sheep who will be there for Rebecca and Zendaya, will soon be both, baffled AND bored out of their FREAKIN’ minds, THEN they’ll tell their friends, who will tell their friends and so on, and so on. Maybe a quick nitpick about "illegal."
The problem with contentID is that really, anything can be claimed, and it's really up to Google what they do with that claim. It's not necessarily a question of fair use for them as it is one of not having to deal with litigation. Everything is just about your user agreement and WB's user agreement with Google.
By contrast, using a legal process (like a DMCA takedown notice) would run into real problems. If you make bad faith takedown requests through DMCA, that's illegal, and WB could be sued for it.
Totally agree that this is very bad business for WB, though. I understand wanting to protect your content so that people can't just watch all the best parts of the movie on CZcams, but undercutting marketing efforts like this seems like a legal department that doesn't understand the business they're in.
