I honestly don’t care if he went missing in games, and that he didn’t quite produce the numbers we wanted from him. He was magical on the ball and could pick out a pass better than any player Forest have had since Reid. I genuinely don’t know if he would be the answer to the problems our club faces right now, but he was a damn joy to watch ❤️

Always great to watch our boy carv al eeooo ripping derby players apart but what a player. It’s a shame he’s not getting what he deserves with us right now. I don’t know who I’d play with silva and carvalho both in the same position. I’d play carvalho in a 451 formation and never allow Yates to put on the shirt.

Joao + Osborn was the best midfield combo we've had in years (since Reid/Guedioura/Lansbury). Both of them criminally underrated by a large portion of our fans. Both technically good, good at spotting where the lines and angles are.
No offence to the majority of our fans but they consider dross like Cohen to be a good player. No wonder we are fucked. Anyone with actual ability gets shoved aside to accommodate very average players. No wonder we've been out of the prem for 2 decades. Our fans have forgotten what a good player looks like
Fully agree... our fans seem to think Yates/Cohen type players are the business. Run around a lot but nothing else after that. Good players will win you a match, not bang avergage high stamina types.

Typical Forest. Dont play him when you need some magic, decide negative defensive football is the way forward, stamp out talent for work rate, miss out on playoffs because of it. Absolutely shocking, the worst players ever like Diakhaby and da Costa got selected every game ahead of our wonderkid Joao!! Sell all the top talent, Carvahlo, Cash, Silva. Replace with Yates, Freeman and Christie. Carvahlo & Silva were real ballers. Most talented skillful players at forest for years. Commons and Reid are the only ones who come close in the last 20 years and theyre both nowhere near as talented as Carvahlo. I mean Carvahlo was a wonderkid on football manager...... Two years ago I was so excited at the start of the season with our team. Now we have league one players like Yates, Christie, blackett, bong, figueredo to look forward to. No wonder I stopped watching forest half way through last season. First time in my life. With the pandemic aswell, i just lost all interest. Not sure where the future lies with me and forest now...... I also feel like Forest have ruined Carvahlos career. Whats he doing playing for Almeria?!!
