Fasting and prayer has been so beneficial for me in my wallk. You get so much stronger spiritually! It's awesome to have less distractions. I feel like it's the distractions that keep us away from what is most important and it's intentional!
Great video Maya. I love how you weave your walk with God into your posts. When I experience fear, I remember the words of Bishop Brazier he was a pastor at the Apostolic Church of God. He said… fear knocked at the door… faith answered and no one was there… when I replace that fear with faith it is powerful. PRAISE THE LORD. This video was beautiful! Also, I just have to say, I feel so seen, you are the first person with curly hair that mentions the dreadlock problem I’ve struggled with my entire life, it’s the reason I wear my hair blow out, and or with lose waves and never a wash and go. I’ve even felt guilty about not wearing my hair curly, but there really isn’t another way, like you, in 2 days I need divine intervention to remove the 3 solid dreadlocks that have formed.
Yeah I'm over the curls. It's not worth it. I'll wear it curly once in a blue but the knots and the about of shedding when I have to brush it out isn't worth it

I’m loving and living for the simplicities of life.
The closer I get to God, I’m finding that I need less… Because I have Him. I’m not as worldly.
Now I’m still a girly girl😂
BUT I use a lot less. Only buying makeup for a glow routine. Getting basic manicures and pedicures. No gels, tips, lashes… Just taking care of my temple😊
It’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with any of those things. Many godly women enhance their features.
For me tho it was bondage.
Please continue to do these types of videos… Sharing His Word and how you’re applying it to your daily life….it’s so needed in the CZcams world😌

To answer your question, it's more about the competing thoughts in my mind. They may not even be negative thoughts, they may be good thoughts. But you're just one person you can do it all at once or achieve everything at the same time. So taking a time out and just enjoying something I like ,then getting back into it and prioritizing those thoughts in order of what is most important at the moment.

I loved this beautiful, my husband is about to move us to his family farm. But literally town is only 15-20 minutes away. I just worry about how it’s going to limit my opportunities for work. The big city is 1 hour and 20 minute’s away and I don’t want to drive that far

Maya this is part of secular world this is what you did when you used to get ready for your party I keep on trying to tell you and these last like four or five posts cuz I'm playing catch up on your videos you cannot serve two God's does not want you on CZcams being vain but maybe you'll eventually get it or you won't because you used to show us your makeup you sure it's how you did your hair you're some things you need to keep to yourself when you walk with God that's not important this is not highlighting God this is not serving God this is serving you and your CZcams channel
