- Hey welcome to our vlog where we exploring Bangkok Thailand on a local bus.
We will take you on a mystery bus tour in Bangkok. In the beginning of this we did not know where we going to end up so this was really fan day for us !!!
We will start this Bangkok vlog around Victory Monument where we gonna show you one of the best spots for noodle soup in Bangkok. After eating some delicious boat noodles we will jump on one of the Bangkok local bus and we will go and explore new area for us Bangkok Ari.

The Thais seem so exciting and happy with foreigners speaking Thai with them. This is unique. In other place on earth most people won't be so happy when you try to speak their language but so imperfectly.

That's just not the case, in fact, it probably diametrically the opposite. Never experienced what you suggest and that's 152 country's later. What these vloggers do show has been the way of the Thai people for generations. Nothing new, just the generous spirit of the Thai people.
Back in 1969 when I was backpacking Thailand I used to love riding the bus to see Bangkok. Back then it cost 25 satang (2 1/2 cents) to ride the bus round trip on it's route. I would sit on one side of the bus and mostly look out the window I was sitting next to and see all the sights. Believe me Bangkok looked a lot different back then no building over 4 stories but the the traffic was the same except far more motorcycles. On the return trip still sitting in the same seat I would look out the window to see the other side of the street and was always amazed and what I was seeing.
Back then it was not unusual to see both men and women wearing their sorangs in the city. However the students both in elementary school and college were wearing the same uniforms they still wear today. Food and lodging was far cheaper a good lunch of noodle soup that was far bigger and made a meal by its self was 3 baht and a plate of fried rice again a full meal was 5 baht washed down with a 2 baht coke served in a plastic bag full of ice and a straw stuck in it. Getting to Nong Kai from Bangkok by bus or train to cross over to Laos was 100 baht.
Today Bangkok is not much different than any world city with McDonalds, KFCs and Star Buck's

Great Vlog Danny,Diggy, great idea mystery bus stop tours. Nice little malls, shops on the way, your noodle soup looked good. Cool scenery to see on the way no plans needed. Liked the steam/ fried custard bun I have a sweet tooth. The famous noodle eaterie was great. Yes the surrounding area looked pleasant and clean and presentable. Yes, nighttime vlog in that area would be good, guys. I don't know how you did it in 35°C, but there was a beer at the end with the couple you met they looked friendly. Glad you enjoyed this unplanned journey it was fun and interesting to watch. 🩷🌟🩷👍

Great idea to jump on a mystery bus. Think you should do some more of these bus vlogs but get out of your comfort zone and avoid the skytrain routes 😂. Pick a broken down looking bus and see where it takes you 🤣. Could be very interesting and you know that you are only a taxi ride from the Skytrain if you end up in the middle of nowhere 😉

To say 4 stops for buses, you say "See Pai". "Pai (ป้าย)" is the same word for signs/signage - a different tone from the town of "Pai (ปาย)" in the north though :-) This video is so much fun!
