Wolf Grey, Midnight Navy, & the Pure Platinum are my top favorite colorways on Air Jordan 1 Low Golf.
Thanks Kevin! Love the review. Jealous of you getting a pair of the Wolf Grays. Only could track down all whites in size 12 here in the States. But thatâs a non starter colorway for the golf course.
Yeah. Iâm not a fan of the white ones. Hopefully youâll be able to cop a pair soon, they keep coming back in stock here in the UK, but sell out pretty quick too
Just got the black croc skin design on sale for $150 here in Canada.
These have really started to become my go-to golf shoes. I suspect that itâs largely due to the low profile keeping me connected to the ground and more stable than most of my other shoes. Granted my shoe collection consists almost entirely of Jordans and Nike Air Max. I feel the traction on these is really underrated however. Iâve worn them in wet conditions and had no issues at all with slipping. The upper is comfortable enough although as you stated they donât provide much in the way of support. Iâve picked up a pair in every color thus far except for the UNC blues. So Levin if you happen to come across a pair of those in a UK 12 (US 13), hit up a long time supporter of the channel!
Compared to other Jordan golf shoes, these are by far the lowest and most connected to the ground. With that said, Iâve youâve Nike ever worn Jâs and Air Max on the golf course, I can see where youâre coming from re these having enough stability. But trust me, compared to the vast majority of dedicated golf shoes, these lack the stability they offer.
However, for a lot of golfers (including some proâs) thatâs just not a big deal, and there are either far bigger swing faults causing issues compared to the shoesâŠor more likely people just donât care about the potential gains that could be had from more stable shoes, because theyâre practically immeasurable.
And Iâll keep a look out for the UNC 12âs and grab a pair if I spot them đ
Would look great with a pair of jeans but as you said, not the best golf shoes from a practical perspective.
Do look excellent though.
Got to admit, I really like wearing them. I keep meaning to buy better insoles to make them more comfortable. Although they are starting to look a bit worn already!
Thanks for the review! I got a pair and found them to be stable in dry or slightly wet conditions, but I wouldnât play them if itâs very wet. For me, the sizing runs big so I went 1/2 size smaller. I would recommend them for sure.
Thanks for watching Zach. I can see how some might want to size down half a size, but I just figured theyâre supposed to have plenty of room in the toe box.
I think whether they have enough traction and stability has a lot to do with your swing. I know (as Iâve been on a few ground force plates) that my combination of ab early extension, and a lot of force on the rear leg means my rear foot will slip backwards if I donât have enough traction, so generally I wear spikes all the time where possible đ
Thanks Kevin for sharing. Not my cup of tea personally albeit they look good, however not really designed for the golfer more for the person that wants to wear as a everyday trainer.
Thanks for watching Raj đ yeah youâve hit the nail on the head, these are fashion first, golf second đ
These actually had better grip than I thought they would when I saw the tread. But not for wet conditions.
Thanks for watching Phil. Grip is a funny one, as I say in the video, for many people, theyâll be fine in most circumstances, otherwise pro golfers wouldnât be wearing them. But I know I need as much grip as I can get, so I wouldnât wear these if I really cared about my score, as thereâs a good chance my rear foot will slip at some point, even if itâs dry. But thatâs happened for me wearing other brand shoes too, so if I can I prefer to wear spikes
These are really good in wet grass, the only way you could get better traction than these on the course is in spikes. They have "better" insoles than standard AJ1's, they are still bad. I run Heffelux insoles in all my AJ1's, and they do great. I have the Shadow pair, and I just picked up a pair of the Panda Highs. I'll probably get rid of my lows because they just don't wear like the highs, which I much prefer.
Thanks for watching. Iâve put Move Game Day insoles in mine, and now I wear my AJ1 low golf everyday off the course đ
Iâd say you can get spikeless shoes with better traction than these, such as the Footjoy Pro SL or Fuel, or the Adidas CodeChaos or Tour360 XT 2.0, but the AJ1 low G will do a good enough job for most. Same goes for the water resistance in long grass, theyâve let some in for me, but the tongue isnât a water resistant material and thereâs no gusset like you find on the Ecco H4 or Mizuno shoes.
I returned my AJ1 high golf shoes, I just donât get on with any high sneakers or boots, so I decided it wasnât worth the pain and blisters they were gonna cause me, not for now at least
Just bought some - they are ultra expensive in Australia so Iâll see how the wife reacts when they arrive đ

Hey man, do they feel hurt toe-tip or comfortable?
Thereâs plenty of room in the toes, so. O issues here. Iâve replaced the insole with a move game day insole which has improved comfort massively
I donât play golf, so Iâm wondering why thereâs specified golf shoes
Thanks for watching. 2 main difference with these golf versions compared to regular versions:
1. Theyâre waterproof (at least the toe is)
2.The outsole has a more aggressive grip pattern designed for grass compared to the regular sneakers which has a flat outsole
Decent looking shoe but I donât get the whole basketball shoe/Jordan hype. If your feet are slipping in the shoe try a pair football grip socks
Thanks for watching Kenny. Itâs a sneaker culture thing, and I think itâs great that itâs bled over into golf. That said, for those not necessarily bothers about trainers, I can see this sudden trend of basketball golf shoes is pretty odd đ€Ł
@@GolfGuyReviews I love trainers and at school in the 70âs I was âMr.adidasâ. Told you before I had the original Air Jordans in the 80âs and they were soooo uncomfortable . Wish I had them now though đ
Usually dunks low are a good for me because they are wide shoes on the toe box, are this Jordan Golf also wide shoes?
Iâd say yes itâs quite a wide shoe, but I have narrow feet so a lot of shoes feel wide to me. Iâve not actually worn a pair of dunks before so Iâm afraid I canât offer a comparison
I haven't had dunks since I was in middle school, how is golfing in dunks? Thinking about putting some spikes in some dunk lows
Just bought a pair, can't believe how stiff they are, can hardly bend my foot in them đ€Ł. Think I'll send them back to Nike and just buy the regular low dunks as I think the leather will be so uncomfortable to wear.
Thanks for watching and sharing. Iâve got pretty sensitive feet and I canât say I found them too stiff to begin with. Mine have certainly broken in now, lots of creasing and itâs gone pretty soft
Dang buddy you choked them sneakers up big time lol. Then shoe laces are dragging the groundđ definitely wonât get any water in them shoes lrl
Thanks for watching! I know, I like my shoes tight! Doesnât look cool but thatâs the way I rock them #dadlife
What are your favorite Nike golf shoes?
In terms of looks and style...these :) (although I appreaciate they're barely golf shoes)
In terms of overall comfort, traction and stability, my favourite is still the Roshe G Tour, although they haven't been available in the UK for a year or two now which is really annoying.
The Nike Air Maxâs are the most uncomfortable golf shoes Iâve ever put on⊠loved how they looked, but the grip around the ankle is absolutely horrendous and wayyyy too stiff. The Jordan low 1 was way more comfortable! Absolute no brainer. Comfort > looks unless you really care about what people think.
The air max90 G does break in a bit eventually, but yea I agree the Jordan 1 lows are more comfortable out of the box and have a much wider fit too.
However there are far more comfortable spikeless shoes than the Jordan 1 low too
Thank you for reviewing these golf shoes!
No worries Jay. Thanks for watching đ
tts?
For me, Iâd say yes, but I have replaced the insoles with some âMove game dayâ ones, and I use the heel lock lacing method đ
You love every shoe
Not really, Iâd say Iâm one of the most critical golf reviewers around. But thanks for watching đ
Tempted to buy them to wear off the course
I wear mine off the course loads, less comfortable and grippy on smooth wet surfaces compared to regular Jordan 1âs but theyâre great as a waterproof shoe or a colourway you canât get in the sneaker version
Just wear a pair of trainers half the price.
Thanks for watching Justin. But the. Youâll get even less grip than these. Personally, Iâd never play proper golf in trainersâŠIâm not sure my club would even allow it đ€Ł
@@GolfGuyReviews Yeah some trainers do not have proper grips but either do some golf shoes, when you play in summer I find no difference with my Nike joyrides (ÂŁ60) and they are comfortable the whole round. As for golf clubs knowing if a player is wearing golf shoes nowadays the shoes like Nike 270 and air max all look the same, would they have shoe police. I understand that some are waterproof but when itâs wet you tend to use spiked shoes. My problem is in the current climate with the cost of living going through the roof, and golf companies putting prices up on trainers that are golfing (air quotes) it makes more sense to just buy a pair of normal trainers and wear there on and off the course. My opinion anyway. Keep up the review of shoes I do enjoy these, I can still dream of buying some one day.
@@josey777cat very fair points Justin đđ
Jordan 1G lows are cheaper than regular Jordan 1 lows and are basically the same shoe apart from the sole and the wording golf! đ€ I have UNC and Wolf in the G and many other regular non golf Jordanâs. They are the same shoe, I can see non golfers buying them just for the price.
U got no drip
Can i not wear this golf shoes regularly like sneakers?
You sure can, I do! đ
Adidas code chaos over these all day long
