Fanohh told me to play Xenoblade , he recommend it to me hahaha In my first time playing it, I was like "mmmm this is not for me" but after a few hours I littely loved it.. This saga is awsome. Can't wait to play Xenoblade 2 and Xenoblade 3. Thanks Fanohh for the recomendation

Xc2 had beautiful landscape to the point making pokemon newest game pales in comparison imo
The battle system just starts very barebones. As all the systems get added it gets better. I also thought it was bad at first, but now I know to expect it. I think its the best modern JRPG series.
I don't know why but the loot in the series really disappoints me. Tons of useless items that I spend more time getting rid of it.
I was hooked to xenoblade 1 very easily but Xenoblade 2 not as quickly lol
I just recently completed the Xenosaga trilogy, the story is heavy and in my opinion truly one of the most underrated jrpg's of the ps2 era
it sucks Xenosaga 2 was awful compared to part 1 and 3

I truly hope the Xenosaga series gets a remaster or remake one of my favorite hidden gems.
I got into xenoblade thanks to Shulk being in smash 4. He was my main in that game so i wanted to know more about Xenoblade.
My first game was X, got it day 1 and loved it, it was the 1st game I 100%. A few months later the original came out in the american wiiu eshop and I couldn´t stop playing that game! in just a few months Xenoblade became my 2nd favorite franchise (Zelda being no. 1)
Unfortunately I couldn´t play 2 when it came out, thankfully the xenoblade community is very careful with spoilers so I was able to play the game almost spoiler free last year and Now I can´t wait for 3 to come out
I cannot imagine how many hours you needed to 100% X ! thats a great accomplishment tbh. It will be a priority for me to play it as soon as i finish with XC3 for sure. You need to try Saga and Gears, im sure you'll like them a lot too !

Like many of my compatriots Chuggaconroy gote into Xenoblade. I had heard of the game and saw the first cutscenes years prior but his let's play of it really expanded my horizons and introduced me to the rest of Monolith Soft.

Yeap, still can't believe he made over 200 episodes just with XC2 and Torna. He is a great ambassador of the game imo, explaining lore, meanings and ideals behind the story events. A massive amount of work and research but so well executed at the end

XC2 was my first game of the series as well. However, it quickly became my favorite game of all time. I enjoyed it so much, and thought the characters, soundtrack, story, and the experience was nothing short of absolutely beautiful.
Great video! I remember playing Xenogears back in the day and none of my friends knew about it at the time. Its nice to see more people enjoying these games.
I just wish for a remaster of both Xenogears and Xenosaga for new consoles.
A remaster of the older Xeno games would be really nice actually ! but I dont think thats something we could see in the near future tbh, Both are pretty much neglected by their own publishers unfortunately
I would pay good money for a xenogears remake. One of my all time favourite games. I still have the original but the disc's are pretty time worn and it pauses and skips a lot, making it difficult to play through. But if someone made a xenogears remake, complete with a full playable disc 2 content, I would buy that game for up to 300 dollars. Premium justified for just how awesome it is.
xenogears is a squareenix game might not happen and xenosaga ip is owned by bandai namco there was a remake planed of that but failed to pass the planing stages

@@marginalhero4783 So would I! In fact, a Gears/Saga continuation is my top most wished for game series. When I watched the Alita movie, I couldn't help but imagine what justice today's CG could do to the Xenogears world, specifically Solaris. I will keep hoping... maybe one day!
Great video, thank you! I’ve been a fan of “Xeno” and Mon. Soft since xenogears myself. XSaga is one of my fave trilogies. I hope they rerelease them someday too!
When I was younger I wasn't able to get a copy of xenoblade 1 so I watched a playthrough of it and then bought X when that came out. I wasn't a big fan of X but when xb1 definitive edition came out I played that and 2 and just recently now I've finished xenogears and xenosaga 1. At this point it's safe to say this is one of my favourite series with xenoblade 2 being in my top 3 favourite games of all time
Really what you didn’t like about X? and yeah Xeno is a series that’s special, but it does take time for it to get into its players. It is especially noticeable when you go back to its beginnings with Saga and Gears when you realize the amount of care and passion the developers had since the very beginning.
@@fanohhh at the time I wasn't into the story and I found the new LA themes really annoying so I dropped it but now as an adult I do want to give it another try at some point

One slight correction, though: Operation Rainfall did not campaign to bring these games outside of Japan, just NA. The movement only began after NoE had announced all the games and their localisations. I would think that no amount of campaigning would have gotten these games released if NoE hadn't stepped in to lozalise them.
Yep, we literally have NOE to thank for Xenoblades success. And isn’t it ironic how the signature English accents of the series all came from the fact that it was NOE who decided to localize the original game.
@@Millahtime And now the accents are a unique trait of the Xenoblade games, and a fairly well-liked one too. Certainly a lot more interesting than if almost all of them had the standard generic american(?) accents that seem so frequent in a lot of games.
The first time I have ever heard and played Xenoblade was when I got my 3DS, and it had Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on it. I'm not joking when I say this, I have almost 300 hours on that game alone and it got me into the franchise. Overall, I now have about over 500 hours across all Xeno games, and it is my favorite game series of all time.
That port was the gateway for so many people into the series ! Which game would you say it's your favorite from the Xeno series?
Man, what a great video. Seriously, thank you for this. I started with Xenogears. I remember when it came out. At the time I was a Squaraesoft junkie, I bought everything they made. I trusted them. It's iffy nowadays, but then, it was pure magic. Xenasaga to this day is one of my all time favorite games. I wasn't bothered by the second disk, I'm a huge fan of story and it was a nice break from all the grinding I had done previously. I'm a huge fan of the Xeno games, and will continue to support the creators and look forward to what they do next.
You got the same experience I had with the second disc hehe, i grinded too much at the beginning to get all the different attacks that I basically had all i needed starting the second disc, so I just went through and played it without grinding any more. What a great story, probably my favorite from all the games, but Xenosaga is up there too! You really started early into the series from what you said there ! Happy the xeno series is finally getting the attention it deserves. I first saw my uncle playing xenogears back in 99' and was intrigued by the gears as I was only 7 at the time. Eventually I got him to let me play xenogears in his room that summer and I was hooked. It already became my favorite game ahead of chrono trigger and ff7 because of the exploration and combat system. But being so young I was too dumb to grasp the depth of the story. I've played it a handful of times again since then but it wasn't until I was in high-school that I decided do a full playthrough reading every dialogue and npc interaction. That was the best decision I've ever made and why it'll always be my #1 JRPG of all time.
I have connected deeply with XC2. It was the game I was playing along with Animal Crossing during lockdown. Being with Rex and the gang, and seeing things through until the end made me really happy. In reality I was alone in my apartment.
XCX is an underrated masterpiece that still crushes even some of the most highly acclaimed AAA titles.
Fantastic video all around. It's very refreshing to see someone properly apreciate the entire Xeno series for the masteripiece it is instead of devolving into petty arguments. I do highly recomend you at least listen to X's soundtrack as it's extremely unique and possibly the best in the series.

2 was my first game like many others. I was at Target and was searching for a new game to play. Took a gamble and picked it up not knowing it would be one of my favorite games of all time. I'm upset with past me cause i saw the Special Edition of it in the glass casing but i did not get it cause i did not know i would love the game so damn much.
I got it too for the same exact reason, it was the only game available for switch that holiday, and it is now my second favorite game of all time. Bloodborne being the first. And dude, you wont believe me, I saw the collectors edition like 1 year later in a random Music store at 70 dollars new, thats how I got it, literally the luckiest day of my life.
I'm nearing the end of Xenogears after having only played XC1 and XC2 and my God it's absolutely beautiful to see just how ambitious Takahashi and his team is even way back in the 90s and how so many ideas, themes and tropes live on in his future works. I hope for only the best for Monolith Soft and I'm super excited for XC3. It's truly a tragic tale that their absolute masterpiece of Xenogears will likely never be remade or have any chance of being finished.
How are you feeling that second disc? Xenogears was the game that convinced me that Xeno is one of the best series in the world, I played it just like you, after XC1 and 2 and I couldn’t believe how deep the game was, and in a PS1 game! I want a remake of gears but only if its Takahashi or well, Monolithsoft as the developer. No one else has the right to fill the blanks other than Takahashi himself.
xenogears the most criminally underated game that was overshadowed by ff7 when it came out. it is the one game that deserves a remake!
@@fanohhh @pineyy I am the opposite of you guys. I started with Xenogears and loved it, replayed it 3 times...but i haven't played any of the xenoblade games. I've been watching a lot of Xenoblade videos and hopefully plan on playing one of them soon.
Xenogears, it was my second jrpg after ff7, and oh god it was awesome! After it i started to closely watch everything that Takahashi does, and played all xeno games, hope they finish xenoblade x story in some definitive edition or x2, cus i feel it like closest to be spiritual successor for gears and saga, and its just sad that they cut some story content to add online functions, but still game itself totally fun, and best in exploration aspect among xeno games, and of course i can't wait for xenoblade 3! Only one week left!)
@@fanohhh Even though it's clearly rushed I'm still greatly enjoying it and can only imagine how a game that is already 10/10 would be if it was truly finished. I'm probably gonna be done with the game tonight and my GOD it's been an incredible journey. It will be sad to know that I'll never experience this game for the first time again, but I'm so glad I got a chance to play this masterful work of art.

Great video, yes Xenoblade 2 was my first one in the series and my first true JRPG game and after that I start playing a bunch of other JRPGs, I love that game, everything about it was an amazing experience. ❤️🔥 when Pyra and Mythra made it to smash I almost cry.
I just recently became a huge Xenoblade fan. I'd watched all of the cutscenes for XC2 some years back, but never really thought much of the series, forgetting about it entirely for a while.
After Pyra and Mythra got added into Smash, I thought they were super fun characters and thought to myself "Hey wait, didn't I watch the cutscenes for this game? What the hell was it about?" So, I started to look up the cutscenes before deciding that wasn't right for me. Now, we get to Xenoblade 3. The Direct for it recently got me super interested in the series finally, so I decided it was time. I didn't have any money at the time, so I was looking for the cutscenes again when a thought occurred to me. "Hey, what about Chuggaaconroy? I know he's a huge Xenoblade fan. I wonder if he played 2." Luckily for me, the last playthrough he did was Xenoblade 2.
I watched the entire series and man, was it something. I laughed, I cried, I felt so many raw emotions that I don't feel for a lot of games. The ending of 2 made me cry the entire way through. Then I watched the Torna gameplay, and while it didn't have me as hooked as main game 2, it was still a fun ride.
I finished that series about a week or two ago. Now, I own both Xenoblade 2 and Xenoblade Definitive Edition, the latter of which I've been playing for the past few days. (I'm currently at Chapter 5) This game is great so far, and it has a weird history with me.
When Shulk was added to Smash, I started watching a let's play of Xenoblade, but never got past the first episode. I instead chose to watch the cutscenes and only got to the part in Chapter 1 where Metal Face does his thing and leaves. A few weeks ago before getting the game myself, I started watching the DE cutscenes, and again stopped at the same spot before quitting. I'm glad to have gotten past that in actual gameplay.
Xenoblade is an absolutely fascinating series to me, and I'm excited to play 3 when it comes out in a few days. Hopefully I finish DE before then. I also look forward to playing Xenogears and ESPECIALLY Xenosaga in the future too, though admittedly on emulator since the price of entry is just way too much for me at the moment.
EDIT: LMAO, I TOTALLY forgot about X. I played about 30 minutes of it on Wii U when I got it and was SUPER bored with it. Maybe I'll go back to it some day.
So many people got into Xenoblade because of Chuggaconroy, he is a really great ambassador for the series now! Im very glad you ended up liking the games, they are a roller coaster of emotions, very few games have the same power Xenoblade has with it's characters, story and overall world. The only game that ever made me feel something like Xenoblade, or heck, Xenosaga or Gears, was the Nier games.
I'm glad you are playing Xenoblade 1 too! Watching the cutscenes is nice and all, but playing it hearing the characters interact, and also watching the heart to hearts, or quiet moments I think they are called in Xenoblade 1 makes the game so much more special. I'm sure Xenoblade 3 will be another special game for many people.
We REALLY need a port of Xenosaga and Xenogears, they are becoming more and more expensive every day :(

Chronicles X is legit! All that actually played it know the story was amazing! I hope we get another to continue said story. Currently, my favorite Xeno game (and one of my all time faves)... Unless 3 dethrones it! 👍🏾
I was there 3000 years ago. The music in Xenogears was top notch, the simple "distant/faraway promises" music box sound can bring you to tears instantly. I rarely replay games, but I did on Xenogears and FF7 multiple times, just for the stories.

great video! xc2 was also my first game in the series. i love the characters and once the combat clicked for me i had so much fun! torna was the best dlc i’ve played, basically an entire new game! i also really enjoyed xb de. really excited for 3 to come out this week!

I got a PSX for 13th my birthday in 1998. I got two games, FFVII and Xenogears. Guess what I didn't get? A memory card until about 2 months later. I played the first 5 or so hours of both games so many times. That first Scorpion Guard boss in FFVII and the Rankar Dragon in Xenogears is burned into my soul. I can remember spamming Raijin and Raigeki combos in Xenogears.😄
Xenosaga Episode I is my favorite game of all time. Xenogears is the game I respect the most.

Xenoblade x is a phenominal game. I love those environments they're so well designed and really fun to explore, with lots of hidden caves amd terrain to climb, with alot of areas having lots of layer vertically.
I started with Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii, I remember the "Project rainfall" being the main reason I wanted to play those 3 RPGs since Final Fantasy, a series I've always been a big fan of, was degenerating into something I liked less and less with each release. I was really excited to play "The last Story", which was sadly a big disapointment. The game is not bad, but my expectations where "here I'll find what Final Fantasy is not giving me" (Since the creator was the creator of FF) and it certainly wasn't.
"Pandora's Tower" was a nice surprise, I didn't expect much but it was fun and the story was ok.
And then, the third one on the list, and the one I knew least and expected even less of the three, was all I was looking for in a JRPG FOR YEARS, it's one of the nicest and greatest surprices I've ever had in my gaming life, the charactes, the gameplay, THE FREAKING STORY, it was an experience I wish I could have for the first time again and it certainly gave me what Final Fantasy wasn't.
I actually knew a bit about Xenosaga when it was released thanks to a KOS-MOS poster I got in a gaming magazine back in 2005 and some tracks from Eps II and III since they were composed by Yuki Kajiura, but never got the chance to play the games.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was my proper introduction to the series. I saw some hype around the date it was released and decided to buy it out of curiosity. Oh boy it became my favorite Switch game in no time. Got Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and it's also a great game, though my favorite is still XC2.
I've been playing the Xeno games since Xenogears in a row in anticipation to Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I'm playing now Xenosaga Ep III and it's such an amazing piece of work. The music, the story telling, the characters, everything is amazing, even considering the age of the games.
Just yesterday I bought a used copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X, it was an oportunity I couldn't pass. I hope I can get to play it soon.
XC1 was my first, but I was not a fan at the time. XC2 was the game that got me to enjoy the franchise I went back to XC1 afterwards and enjoyed it this time around
Which of the 2 you liked the most after playing both? I love both but 2 is still a bit better for me, probably because I played it first, but I just felt the characters and world more magical for me

I remember I always was interested on xenoblade, the child me back in 2015 when he played smash 4, always was so curious about Shulk, and I always loved the gaur plains stage and the music, I couldnt play a xenoblade game until 2018 when I got xc2, and I absolutely loved it, I couldnt finish it like a year later, but I loved it, but the gem, of monolith and nintendo for me, was xc1 de, when definitive edition released on the pandemic, it was an absolute blast, I finished the game in a week and I was nearly crying at the end, and my fanatism just have grown over the years, to the level that I want to tatoo something of xenoblade lmao, now I'm waiting 3 with so much hype, a little scared to but with a lot of hype

My first game in the series was the original Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. I was part of the Operation Rainfall fan campaign.
Btw, slight correction: in Xenoblade Chronicles X, there isn't a load when entering or exiting NLA (the city). The only loads in that game are when you fast travel (warp to a random spot on the map) or when entering or exiting cutscenes.
Thanks for that comment topsekret! Yeah I think XC3 will be the biggest game in the series too. But Im thinking now if 3 would be a good starting point for new players because I think many will play it without 1 and 2 first.
I've seen videos and articles about that time with the fan campaign, that was quite a journey let me tell you hehe. I just found out about it some years ago when searching for a XC1 Wii copy

@@fanohhh Yeah, I would recommend that new players play 1 and 2 first to get the most out of 3. But from what we've seen in trailers so far, 3 looks like it will have a good standalone story for those that start with it. Though I'm sure by the end there will be some major connections to the first two that will go righter over the heads of newcomers. And heck, we even see Melia and Nia in the trailers, so it looks like it will have more direct connections to the previous games than 2 did to 1.
Hopefully X eventually gets ported to the Switch (or the next console) so more people can play it. That game had some unanswered questions and a cliffhanger ending, so hopefully they'll also follow up with an X2.
My first Xeno game was actually Xenogears:). I then played all 3 Xenosaga games as they came out. I’ve also played Xenoblade chronicles 1, X and 2 in that order. I will say that I REALLY enjoy the entire series a lot. To me, it’s second to the Trails series (Kiseki in Japan)

So happy they are meeting such success! I started with Xenogears, and Xenosaga also blew me away. Xenoblade didn't quite grab me the same way yet. As you say, I hope this success leads to revisiting the earlier titles and worlds, and I have been buying Xenoblades even though I haven't had time to play and finish them all yet. Here's hoping!!

The card game in Xenosaga I is one of my favorite minigames. The storyline is great, but it is actually the card game that makes me go back to it frequently.
Xenosaga trilogy is my second favorite game, following Chrono Cross. Thank you for making this video. Was never interested in the Xenoblade games but now I'm considering picking them up.
Xenosaga is what I started with. I love the series to death and it got me to look into Xenogears. I never got into Xenoblade, but I do hope to have time someday to enjoy them.
Great video, thank you! I love Monolith games, the two Baten Kaitos were a little rough but the Xenoblade ones were great (I love X in particular, even if it has his flaws). Would love to play Xenogears and Xenosaga, but I don't want to emulate them and playing them legally can be a little difficult (and expensive). Still hoping for a remastered / remake on current hardware, chances are slim but with every successful Xeno game chances of that happening go up a bit, i think. Let's hope.
Did you play the Baten Kaitos games? I'm thinking of getting them some times but they are a bit expensive for me. Just want to make sure they are worth the price before I decide to the get them. And yeah, we really need a port or remaster of Saga and Gears. I'm sure they will sell more than their own publishers think they would. We got a port of wild arms with the new PS+ and also a port of the Valkyrie profile game on PSP announced with the new game, I'm sure square can at least port Gears easily
@@fanohhh they are good. The first was great but the battles are slow. They are way faster and more engaging in part 2. They are Monolith through and through and has the Xenoblade dna. The floating islands are very reminiscent of Xenoblade. Def check them out. Perfect for on the steam deck : )

This is great video. Very dead on with Xenogears and the 2nd disc being difficult to finish. I still need to get around to playing the the Xenosaga series before diving into xenoblade.
I've been looking forward to play Xenogears for a long time now.
I got into the series with Xenoblade on Wii which quickly stole my heart, I had to skip Xeniblade X since the WiiU was too expensive in my country (around $600 at the time) so if we get a Switch port, then I'll get it and finally Xenoblade 2 surpassed in my opinion the first game and is currently one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.

I actually bought all three games from project Rainmaker for the Wii era, even updating a friend's website and being AHEAD of ign and the big three on search update info for a few days at the top of searches haha.
Then I played the original Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, after knowing of Xenogears and Xenosaga (not well) and just... put it down after 30mins, tried to pick it up a few times, but ended up enjoying Sin and Punishment Star Successor and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom most on Wii, offhand.
Then XCX came to Wii U and I bought it, and ... could not put the game down for days/weeks/months, even BotW seemed tame in comparison looking back. It was the most ambitious Wii U title, arguably one of the most technically impressive feats on Nintendo hardware ever accomplished!
The big selling point for XCX without spoiling it, is the world itself and the soft MMO elements, and it DID do pretty well at the start sales wise in Japan, many digital sales there, over 350K in sales, according to Wiki, is pretty good for a title on the Wii U. My only complaints for XCX are that it needs DLC and a Switch Port STAT, how about an anniversary edition/s for all the Xeno' series games (maybe in 2025, XCX 10 year anniversary).
Great video ! I still own the Xenosaga Trilogy and every once in a while I get the itch to play but alas.
I started with the 1st Episode of Xenosaga before the rest of them were released. I was so hyped when Episodes 2 and 3 came out. Loved the story, complex as hell. Did not really like how they changed the artstyle from Episode 1 to 2, but I did like what they did with 3. After that I played Xenogears. You can really tell that even back then they loved their epic, resurrections, reincarnations, eons length stories and characters, it was great.
My first was X. Loved every minute of it. The gameplay within that entry is brilliant and loved how you could min/max. I honestly found 2 a step down for how it simplified it. But don’t get me wrong I love every entry and enjoyed my time with Xenoblade DE and 2 and excited for 3.
I started with Xenosaga back in the ps2 days. I played one and two, then forgot about the series since I graduated HS at the time. It wasn’t until Xenoblade 1 came out 3DS that I got back into the series.

Xenoblade X is my favorite of the xenoblade games.
The story is good, the combat is one of the best, specially when switching from character and mech battles.
The world was big with a lot of places and things to discover.
The side quests were entertaining.
Great video. I’m a newer xeno fan, xenoblade chronicle definitive edition being the first one I have played and only played XB2, torna and future connected sine. I would love to go back and play some of the older titles but it isn’t possible for me right now. Hopefully they will be re released at some point in the future
So many people asking for those remasters and neither BandaiNamco or Square do anything, so frustrating !
I love this series, and this is an amazing video, but one very monolithic (pun intended) event that I think was missed when talking about the rise of Xenoblade is Chuggaaconroy's Let's Play of the first game. He was still in the prime of his career, and he called it his favorite game of all time (which alone would have been enough).and he then proceeded to pump out a 100+ episode, 100% playthrough of the game, with many of those episodes getting over a million views. Chuggaa was absolutely essential in getting Xenoblade to reach a much wider audience back when the game was still niche, and I think we should definitely recognize him for helping the series grow into what it is today.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is the best game that I have played. I bought my Wii U and had to get this game as it was like one of the only JRPGs coming out. I was hooked from the start but didn't really understand the combat. What the hell is auto attack and why am I not the one doing it. Eventually got the hang of it. But when you were able to pilot the mechs that changed the game even more so when you unlocked flight. A port of XCX would be a god send for me. I am still waiting for XCX2.
Had the same issue with The Last Story, it was the first game I played with auto attack and didn't understand it at the time. I've seen so many great comments about X here, I didn't realize how many people liked it so much. Need to make time after Xc3 to play X for sure !

There was actually gonna be 3 more Xenosaga games, but because the 2nd game didn't sell, they just cut most of it and you can find some of the story it in the logs on the 3rd game.

I dunno I like X more than 1 and 2, sure the story is not good at all but the setting and exploration, the fact that it had mechs like the older xenos I really enjoyed it. JRPGs don't have to be all about overaching narratives and character interaction, there can be more to it. I bought the WiiU just for it and didn't really regret it.
Same here, i was disappointed that they cut story content to add online functions, but still if we talk about exploration it's best in xeno series. I love mira!🙂 and x is absolutely special beast among xeno games for me, hope they make definitive edition and x2 for switch or switch 2🙂.
Xonegears still my favorite game of all times, despite the disc 2 problem. Still amazing to this day... and the music!! Always get goosebumps listening the OST
Xenogears came out when I was 11, and I started renting it from my local Blockbuster thinking I could finish it in around 3 rentals... then I decided to just buy. That was the best decision I've ever made :D
I started with X on the Wiiu... then I played Xenogears emulated and then Xenoblade 1 Definitive and Xeno 2 and Torna. Can't wait for the third entry.
I started with Xenogears on the PS1. Man that was such a good game, i know ppl hated the 2nd disk but i really enjoyed it. The music still get me till this day. Also played the Xenosaga trilogy on PS2. I have a switch for a while now but have avoided the Xenoblade series for some reason. THis vid is making me rethink that choice. Even if its just for the music of Yasunori Mitsuda ill play it. Thank you for the video.

One little correction: Xenoblade wasn't a Japan exclusive. It also came out in Europe/Pal regions, which is what sparked Operation Rainfall in the first place. Historically, Europe got screwed of many releases, seeing games releasing in Japan and America, but not in Europe. However, the Operation Rainfall games were announced to come to Europe, but not the US, reversing a decade-long trend, hence the outcry and demand for them to get released in America, too.
For me the WiiU was an awesome console, not only I got to play my first Xenoblade Game, Xenoblade Chronicles X but I also got to play Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and find my favorite game series of all time.

My first game in the series was xenoblade 2 as well fell in love with the characters and story and one of the big reasons I decided to give it a try was cause of this awesome CZcams streamer I used to watch may he rest peace joycon boyz for life, after that I got definitive edition and loved the story and characters just as much can’t wait for xenoblade 3 the hype is real
I stumbled across an article about project Rainfall a decade ago while looking for Wii games to... ehrm, "freely demo" at the time. So I checked out Xenoblade first. Became my favorite game of all time and still is, but I remember before the Smash 4 announcement, I didn't know anyone who'd even heard about Xeno at all. We've come a long way since then, and I can't wait for what comes next from Takahashi and Monolith.
Oh, and to be clear, since then I bought the Wii reprint twice (one as a gift), the 3DS version, and both special editions of DE, so I've payed off my initial "free trial" 😅
I remember a few months ago. I went to my local used goods store. They mainly have used books and a few games. I was on my way to the checkout with a stack of books in my hands when I decided to stop by the games. To my shock, I found a copy of xenoblade for the wii on sale for 25 dollars. I rushed and put my books back and went straight for the game. To this day, I look at the game on my shelf with a great smile on my face.
Dude, if they made a remake for Xenogears in true-complete form, the gaming world (90's gamers) will go crazy with pure happiness.
Xenosaga battles took so long to load, and barely gave the party enough xp to level up so that game is better off just watching the cutscenes on youtube rather than playing through it
Well I really enjoyed them tbh, except saga 2, those were not that good. But 3 battle system is amazing and load very fast compared to 1 and 2. But I get what you say, hopefully when an eventual port comes (if it ever happens) they will be faster

I own Xenosaga 3 still, I had no idea the value of that game was so high.
Never touched Xenoblade 2 and I have no intention to. My first Xeno game was Xenoblade 1, I looked up Chuggaaconroy's playthrough after this British Shulk nobody was announced for Smash 4, and the opening hours, from the opening to the establishment of the basic revenge plot setup, it hooked me hardcore, I rented it from Gamefly and even though I got burnt out and returned it by the time I got to Sword Valley, I still loved it. The game that took me from hating JRPGs to loving the genre. I still can't believe I'm playing a new Xenoblade game in X3, I think I've put more hours into it for how long I've owned it than like 80% of my collection- I've had it since launch, 4 days now, and I've already got like 25 hours despite having a life [which makes it hard to enjoy this genre lol]
Xenosaga II oh yeah :-) i'm from Germany and since i was/and still am a huge Anime nerd i bought this game since it was advertised with an additional DVD with all the cutscenes of the first game. So you had one DVD with (i think) almost 6 hours of movie (where i really didn't see much "cuts" where gameplay should happen) and afterwards i did play the second game which (even if it was different) liked a LOT. Sadly the third game wasn' localised so i never knew how the whole story ended. I played it for the first time completly 2 years ago on Emulator and... boy was it a ride :D
You’re not wrong in regards to the size of xenoblade X. I’m a completionist and I’ve already clocked 120 hours. I’m no where near finishing it. I can see myself hitting over a thousand hours in it.

I started Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS but didnt make it very far...I got it originally because of Shulk being in super smash and was curious. Unfortunately for me my 3DS screen broke and I ended up selling my game collection away at that time (big regret now lol)
When Xenoblade 1 came to Switch I was so happy that I could finally finish what I started on my 3DS...and yeah I fell in love with the game. One of my favorite RPGs of all time.
As of writing this I began Xenoblade 2 last week since the hype is going and I am currently on chapter 5. I cannot believe I missed this game...I had a switch on launch week and played every single title... Xenoblade 2 is the 2nd most impressive title next to Breath of the wild. I think I read some reviews of people I trusted at that time and they gave me the wrong impression of the game. I am somewhat of an RPG fanatic...and without going into my credentials I just want to say ... "wow" -- part of me is glad I missed out on xenoblade 2 to be proven so wrong..and because I did not pay attention to any of the videos everything is a surprise. I think the thing that makes it so special are the strong characters/music and level design. I hope the next generation Nintendo console gets a huge hardware upgrade so we can keep exploring the xeno universe in a more "pixel perfect" setting.
Even if Xeno 3 sucks...I am still so amazed by this series and will remain a fan for life. This is something truly special and I am so happy to be alive at this time to experience it.
