  • What are we suppose to do when our horses will load onto the trailer but become frantic when we make a move to close the butt bar, ramp, or door?
Shawna talks with Kathy about her mare, Gigi talking through the steps to help Gigi not only accept being in the trailer but to learn to want stay there. Is that even possible? Yes. By changing neural pathways to make all good associations with being on the trailer, it is possible.

I like how you include all of the extra steps that are going to make her feel more comfortable 'doing the thing', not just using +R to sugar coat insisting she 'do the thing'.

How is the feed trough attached in the trailer?

If I recall correctly, it’s a soft, corner, feed trough that hangs with double end snaps. If you have a trailer repair company nearby, they can typically attach hooks for snaps, so that you can hang a trough.
