Some shady $hit going on here. Not an RTJ fan but something is not right about all this. Gonna be a very motivated RTJ on the track. And probably some bent parts.
I’ve seen a rtj with something to prove before and it’s not good news for anyone standing in his way. If people thought they seen him do some crazy sh!t that shouldn’t have been possible and a determined ricky before they ain’t seen nothing yet

There will be growing pains... sounds like longhorn is sending some guy's down to crew up for Ricky for the next couple weeks while that stuff is worked out. I do think its pretty telling of how quickly Ricky can adapt when you look at what he did in Stevie's hotrod on Monday.
Which raises the question of does ricky hold anything back that they’ve been doing that longhorn doesn’t know about during those weeks until he has a Koehler crew so it doesn’t get back to longhorn or not
I doubt that since Burrough’s will still be with Huddy
“Stevie’s hot Rod” and equipment is the absolute best equipment money can buy hand has been for years barely removed from rocket and then longhorn equipment. Setup and trade secrets aside there is ZERO difference in equipment from what he had and what he got to run that night.
@ChrisS-oo6fl never said there was anything different... but setup wise can take a minute to get to where you are feeling what you want out of a car.
Driver's today are all talented that are racing on this level. So that being said, they are only as good as the car they are in. Night in and night out. I think Ricky is going to find out how good his crew was at SSI. Time will tell this story.
Seems something was going on that would have really hurt SSI. No owner is just gonna give up almost guaranteed championships and big wins.

I heard SSI was basically funding O'Neal while he was on his own. Came down to a money thing and they let RTJ go to just take on O'Neal only. The O'Neal family is basically like family to SSI anyway.
I hope RTJ just destroys SSI now.

These two quacks trying to act like they have news got nothing. Not a single source or a single clue as to what going on. Hudson O’Neal wanted a higher percentage to race for R1, from research I could find, close to if not over 50/50 split. RTJ is amazing, but more than likely this was a back door deal by O’Neal to get in the seat. RTJ was not as competitive as in the past this season. O’Neal is the hot deal. RTJ will be good to go. Longhorn will take care of him. Now if we could get Bobby Pierce over here in the R1 we’d be rocking.
Pierce needs no R1 he has his OWN Championship team

And they do have the same crew indeed. Retained all of Ricky’s crew plus Huddy is bringing one of his top guys.

Not starting conspiracy theories, but maybe RTJ parked his chassis in Todd’s Wife’s, or Daughter’s “Garage”, or vise versa, IYKWIM. Obviously there’s something not being told, but 💩 happens. Sometimes conflict occurs, maybe it’s just time for a change, or Owner / Driver power struggle, a personality clash, etc. Life goes on! Get back to racing and put it behind you.
It's pretty simple. Todd wanted to add Hudson as a second car. Ricky's ego said ain't no way so Todd said don't let the door knob hit you in your ass on the way out.
Having a team mate is one thing but having a team mate that is only there because he couldn’t make his own stuff work and needs your notebook is a completely different situation and the situation that it would’ve been in this case
