She will be missed a lot!
Ann only discovered Nightwish when she was over 60 and immediately fell in love with the band. She attended their concert for the first time in 2018 and would have liked to go again this year. Ann was: humane, polite and kind to everyone. She was knowledgeable, understanding, and helpful. That is, a big-hearted person. Like grandmother is supposed to be. She was our own Nightwish grandmother.
She was definitely ill, but the last time I called her, though she was tired, she was strong, all the way until the end. We were all blessed to have known her. Thank you for such a wonderful video, she would have been so happy.
Thanks guy for doing this song for Ann...she was the No1 in the comment section under every NW reaction...always kind, always humble.
RIP Ann. Thank you guys for this tribute. Ann opened a way of kindness to all Nightwish fans.

Ann helped me when I was in a bad way by telling a story of my music hero Tony Kakko and him helping Tuomas with his depression. I went and CZcams searched Tony and am now a huge fan of Sonata Arctica who Ann also liked so I'm forever grateful to Ann and her telling me a story to make me feel I wasn't the only 1 who battled depression and finding an awesome band who's music has helped me along with Nightwish. RIP Ann.
She called me up and helped me when I was in a bad way as well. She was great and truly selfless.

Yesterday I was shocked to hear she'd passed away, although I was already preparing for the worst as she hadn't commented on any Nightwish reactions for a long time. Even if I didn't know her in person, we used to exchange messages via CZcams comments. Kudos for doing this "requiem" for her with her favorite Nightwish song. She will be missed by many, including myself. My heart goes out to her husband, children & father. R.I.P. dear Ann.

What a precious video! I know she loved you guys, so it's great to see you guys doing this for her. Ann was a beacon of light, let us try to learn how to become something similar and spread nothing but love and positivity in these weird and difficult times. ☺ ♥ and hey, now you indeed have an extra reason to go see Nightwish when they're touring nearby; doing it for Ann, I'm sure she'd join you guys in spirit.

Ann & I shared this song in common as our favorites. Whenever a new reaction to this song (or "7 Days to the Wolves", another Ann favorite) would pop up, I used to eagerly check the comment section to see if Ann had gotten there yet. She was always so kind to me and everyone she'd talk to. I am so going to miss her. For anyone who has seen "Imaginaerum": "And there remains the change from G to E minor". The snow globe shall forever spin for our Ann.
Checked 16 reaction vids today...all about Ann...all reactors played ''Song of myself'' (my fav NW song as well btw) to honor Ann...great to see all that love for her...she was a wonderfull person and helping others even when in pain herself...i felt lots of love and respect for her...my thoughts are with her family and personel friends...as for our nightwish-army...i know we all miss her dearly😔

That was a nice tribute. If you decide to listen to the new album there's a full playlist (in order) made by the official Nightwish channel. I think (as do many others) you should go it through like listening to a new CD - in order. Start with Music. Have a great move!

"I have been a fan of Nightwish, Floor - all of them, for
an amount of time that seems like an eternity. But I notice
a lot of people are doing them all wrong, to me. They embrace
Floor as she should be, she is what is best for Nightwish
because she is so versatile. What frustrates me, is the
amount of people throwing in requests for Floor.
So many people in the "Nightwish Army", or whatever, ignore
Anette and Tarja, and all the work they put into the
studio albums. Not everyone, but enough... too many
to be comfortable with.
If I was to say anything to people, to the people doing
reactions, it is to be original. You don't have to listen
to everyone and be the performing... whatever... in the
circus. You don't have to be. There is over 100 songs in
Nightwish's library, and so much studio work that goes
unnoticed that it's almost infuriating. Now don't get me
wrong, I love Floor, but Nightwish is to be experienced for
everything that it is. Tarja, Anette, Floor, Live, Studio...
it's all their history, Tuomas's work, Marko's work - everyone
in that band. Do more of the studio work while you do the
live Floor stuff. Appreciate Nightwish for everything that
it is, and don't be afraid of backlash from the other fans.

@@Algastar no problem, I was sitting on it for a while while I mourned her loss as I was very close to her in real life, but then thought she wanted this to get to as many reactors is possible. I suppose is just completing a promise to her.
