just another management job - but with a crazy high level clearance. that said, the best officer I ever knew was my LT, and this was him.
Wow that's so cool!
Do CWOs get deployed involuntarly a lot in the reserve?
most dangerous guys in the navy. crypto
Would LOVE if this was offered via STA-21. (Though that's now 77% nuclear, 0% CW, 0% IW, and 1.3% IP.
I am just about to earn a degree as a Software Engineering in a few weeks with a focus on network security, having maintained a 3.9 GPA, and will commission as a IP (1820). Though I am proud and excited to go into the IP realm, I won't realistically ever put my degree to practical use. Probably not outside of NAVWAR. Either way, for such a cutting edge warfare field and a growing battle space, where 21st century war is being waged daily, I am amazed at the lack of retention/DH bonus opportunities and commissioning opportunities. Where the URL continue to get guaranteed in resident masters programs (Admiral Burke Program) etc, RLs are still restricted from applying to many programs.. IW/CW are all blocked out for STA-21 and it's honestly surprising.
Again, I cant wait to commission as an IP. Been an IT for 10 years. But I do wonder if my degree and cyber security skillset would be better suited in a different community. 'Lat Transfer' isn't always the most ideal path, especially for those of us who want to make this a career and maybe get their foot in the door for Admiral. I was hopeful that with the CNO coming from the IWC, we would see the IWC being expanded and taking a more centric leadership role with more opportunities. Though we do continue to evolve and integrate into many fields and communities (subs for starters is new for 1820), it would be nice to see it be on the same level as the URL.. or for STA-21 to become the program is used to be.
In 2009 is picked up 248 Sailors, 17% nukes. Since then its been 50 Sailors, 35 nukes, and this year 79 Sailors, 61 nukes. Still only $10k a semester in 2023 as it was in 1991.
I would like to apply and join your community
Fiziò !
how is this job?
💯💯💯
At sea you will be busy, busy AF but in port you will probably be training but most of the time not working.
From what I saw it was a really chill gig as compared to some of the other types of officers.
Being able to focus on one job/rate has it's advantages instead of being a Line Officer for example.
Just use it against ur own people.
Wow, armitage? What a way to announce incompetence.
lol, you really think they are going to show the real tools being used for a CZcams video? smh...
You are such a tool lol
Yes they did. They use it for red teaming and simspace.
@@dayzofreckoning5253 yeah cause NAVFIT98 is such a secret… this community is why I’m leaving.
