Mam, didn't understand the no intimation entry..I mean why to debit 'goods lying with customers AC' and why to credit 'tradings AC'??
From my perspective,
If I consider that you have your firm and you sent the goods on approval basis and no intimation or information given by your customers,that simply means that they are under obligation to return/reject/ approve the goods.
In that case they are your debtors.
And in accounting , debtor is an asset ; that's why the inventories lying with customers is recorded in debit side.
And trading account is credited as it relates to sales.
I hope this seems to be correct!

If there's no calls in arrear given in the question, then the whole amount on shares was paid up, otherwise vice versa..
