Honda RC213V-S review | Marc Marquez' MotoGP replica ridden!

- Toad ticked a big box on his Bucket list last week, when #Honda UK chucked him the keys to its cherished and rarely-used #RC213V-S.
The bikes holds mythical status, thanks mostly because to them being bought up by investors and collectors and never ridden. That's not something that Honda UK wants - this is a bike that deserves to be ridden, even if it is on a slightly damp, cold, and windy Welsh mountain road!

Stunning! What a treat, very jealous!....In Wales no less, land of the free...what was it like at 20mph?😂
We were given the bike for a ride in Sepang Circuit (few laps), what a treat and it was the best bike ridden by far in terms of handling. It was so light and agile.
Power, well it's not enough due to restricted RPM (in the track) but we agree that sub 150hp should be more than enough on the road. The bike we got couldn't go pass beyond 9 or 10 thousand rpm. But it was still great enough to left a memorable experience. Thanks HRC for that round of test ride.
I think this is the sexiest Honda ever built. It looks both old and modern at the same time, and that livery oh my word I love it.
NR750 is amazing and three decades old.
As a big fan of RC213V-S, I am eternally grateful to Visordown for this video ❤
Thanks for riding the machines that most of us will never get to ride. Great insight. Good luck 🏁
Very nicely done Toad👍👍
Nice.
Does anyone know if honda uk are releasing the cb400 super four like the yellow one I keep seeing pictures of?
I love it!
4 little cylinders yellow, perfect sunny Sunday bike.
Amazing motorcycle..!!
Now that it has few years on it how would you compare it to the last "special" bikes of today? With all the gear necessary to have it full power would it beat todays V4s Sp2 M1000RRs and similar also on their full power and tech?
Its more gorgeous than a Ducati 😍
Any good for the M25?
I have to ask (because I actually don't know), what is that red, white, and gold Honda sportbike in the background?
It's an interesting color scheme.
for years I've been dreaming of this bike.
Beautiful bike.
I think this bike does not have same firing order as today GP bike. This is RC30/45 firing order while GP is big bang, at least sounds like that.
To me it's more beautiful than any italian sport bike
We have road bikes with over 200bhp, and you think we have a nanny state?
Honda should bring back the V4, a RC30/RC45 successor (VFR750R) like Ducati brought back the Elephant Desert X. It doesn’t need to be the fastest, just a middleweight V4 that can do street and track, especially when the 600 class is gone.
Do you fall every time you ride it?
Lucky guy. If I owned a £200k bike I definitely wouldn't let anyone else ride it. The excess must be crazy.
I just noticed that white livery with the red spot looks like Japan's flag
Slightly de-tuned....they never release hp numbers but the proper GP bike with pneumatic valves it's based on is probably somewhere between 250-300hp. If you bought one of these in the U.S. you got limited to 100hp and no race kit option. Meanwhile Ducati had already sold the Desmosedici making twice the power for half the price.
I always thought these were hand made not mass produced in fact less than 200 were completed
Didn't they try to run this at the last TT IOM and it just completely fell apart?
That bike does about 217cv, but its limited to 150hp.
Is it 2023 version or 8 years old model
8 yrs old.
It better be special for 185,000 dollars lol
Well and actually MotoGP bike is $2.5-$3 Millon.
@@JDeezle21 what’s your point?
@@____________________ok you don’t say lol
yo i was just wondering if you knew about how heavy the crankshaft of this honda rc213v-s is. would really help
RC213V-S v Superleggera V4?
The Japanese are masters. ❤️
Bring back a V4 superbike, Honda !
Geezus , you could buy a few R1M's for that , or a few H2'S with all the fruit
👍🍀🥂
If given the opportunity, I would spend the $$$ for this unicorn……
A shame they never made a v4 fire blade…
CBR9/CBR1k=FireBlade
VFR/VF 500-1200cc=V4
RC namesakes = Racebike/Homologation bikes.
Its 102nm of torque not 102ft/lb's 😂
This isnt a replica it is the bike lol
Oh come on, why didn't you make some comparison to Ducati Superleggera?
If it wants to go faster. It must not be a replica of Honda’s Moto gp bike.
The solution was always there. Everything is so perfect, the HRC just needs to take this, add 150 hp, and Marquez’s problems are gone. Seriously, this is nice, expansive, and pointless. The last good Honda specials were the RC45 and the VTR SP2. Because they could race in proper categories and win. This one is just like the NR750 in the 90’s, which was (much) slower than a Fireblade. This one is so expansive that it will never get raced next to a Panigale or a M1000RR: Honda can breathe a bit.
ne has been raced in the isle of man for at least the last 3 years..
@@MxMOBSTAR Bruce Anstey raced one at the TT for Padgetts in 2016 from memory.
@@paultanton4307 yea Michael rutter raced one this year as well
Honda is the best
Nope
@@ricardo6861 for the sales they are facts...
Best at what? Mass production? Crashing in motogp?
@@stevejones1318 Best selling company for 2 wheels they upgrades for sure...
@@stevejones1318 King of F1

only for honda fanboys.
same as the desmosedici RR, only for a niche.
Bullshit, 102 foot lbs ! how could anyone that knows anything about bikes say that!
You say, that with the way things are going today, will we ever see the like of this again? Well, actually the answer to that is in our own hands. Bike and car manufacturers want/need to sell their products and as appears to be happening in the car world, battery car sales are drying up, then the stupid politicians will have to change and allow customers to buy what THEY want. The answer is quite simple, buy ICE vehicles and boycott all battery only vehicles. Simple.
a diluted race bike for the collectors to own...
still, what a move from Honda, producing such bike...
yamaha should've made a M1 homologated bike in their winning years with VR46
It's the ugliest Honda I've ever seen and it's worth a fortune.
Nobody likes Marquez.
Nobody cares
