i was just playing the adventures of LoLo yesterday and i realized, he REALLY got the short end of the stick Didnt he? i mean, he used to have his own game series... and now he's just a boss in Kirby's games that doesnt even appear often
I disagree. It's more likely that they would've been abandoned entirely if it wasn't for the Kirby series.

This game was such an awesome callback to Kirby’s Dream Land GB with some great remixes and bosses that have brand new attacks.

Pretty much this entire game was a callback to the original Kirby's Dreamland on the Gameboy. The levels, the bosses, and the lack of copy abilities all seem to be from that game. (With the addition of color and 3d movement, of course.)

There's technically 3; the regular blue variant, a purple variant with tiny spikes and a bigger mace, and the red variant with a golden mace and shield.
