- You absolutely loved him last time so of course, we had to bring RJ back to react to another iconic fighting game: Mortal Kombat 11. Featuring legendary characters like Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, and Jax Briggs, RJ walks us through the fights and identifies all things legal and not so legal like Dick Punches. MK11 is the 11th installment of Mortal Kombat developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The eleventh installment in the Mortal Kombat series is powered by a heavily modified version of Unreal Engine 3[7] and is the successor to Mortal Kombat X. As with the previous three games in the series, Mortal Kombat 11 uses 2.5D graphics. A new gameplay feature, Fatal Blows, is introduced in addition to the returning Deaths, Brutalities, Stage Deaths, Friendships, and Qualities.

He's very chill and cool someone you definitely would hang out with.
Those are the types that usually make these vids. The reason why some of the martial artists like Gemma are great for this too is cuz they understand the entertainment value as well considering they work in entertainment

Kano's design and moveset are brilliant. Watch him for 30 seconds and you immediately understand what he's all about.

I love this dude we need more off him. He’s one of the few guys who knows it’s a video game and what things need to be changed for video games.
I always thought Sonya was a good fighter but this analysis drives it home. Not only is she a good fighter, she fights almost 100% realistically. This is also the first time I've ever heard of Stances in Fighting other than martial arts. It's cool that he's not only providing insight into the moves themselves but also the stances and what they accomplish

Awesome to see this guy back! I hope we get more MK. Missed seeing Sonyas ground moves, we see so much stand up with the martial artists so it would be cool to see armbars, kneebars and chockes here. Also Cassies ground and pound brutality would be cool to hear his opinion on. And Jacquis muay thai! :D

This guy is walking breathing in game move manual who doesn't need to know which combos does what, because he knows it and used in real life. And that's what makes him a MMA fighter, Gaming nerd and a good teacher. He just teached us 25% of the MMA by just summarising the move sets. Plus thank you for listening to me and guys like me I don't know if someone asked for it or not, but I asked for a MMA fighter or Pro wrestler to react to fighting moves from MK11. And you guys made my wish come true...
Gonna be honest, I'm curious to see how he'd tackle some stuff like Street Fighter or King of Fighters. Or even more anime fighters like Dragon Ball Fighterz. RJ's personality is pretty great and he really breaks the moves down, which is neat to listen to.
I love to see that appreciation for the work that the video game had.
I'm going to look forward to the next MK11 video, they are always so much fun to watch.

Yeah considering how fighters have broken their own legs throwing a powerful leg kick to an opponent I would be scared as hell to get kicked by someone in the UFC
I appreciate not only the breakdowns of the realistic moves, but the fact that he enjoys the crazy shit. Also now I'm curious if steel toed boots would actually help with a continuous spin kick since they're heavier and that weight might be able to counter balance so they don't fall on their ass?

I love the reaction, but it also shows how much the style matches the fighter. The trained fighters show calculated attacks, the showoff has very showoff attacks, the total a-hole has total a-hole moves, etc.
