Thank you, Guy. I am so glad Ren's song had inspired you as it does for so many of us. Just to see and hear Ren's Everybody Drops makes me feel less alone in my sadness and emotional turmoil. He has recently reported that Finally, after the years of intense suffering and at last the extensive treatments in Canada, the excruciating pain in his shins has begun to lessen. What a huge thing. I can't fully imagine how he has written his profound songs, busked, produced and performed for us while his legs have been ceaselessly screaming in pain. Yet he also has told us that learning Acceptance of What Is has empowered him to keep creating, going on, and trying to help others. He is such an inspiration on so many levels. I am happy you saw this song as another gift to us from Ren's journey. I really can't explain why it is one of my favorites, but please know how much I appreciate your reaction to it. Thank you for sharing your own journey with us. You, too, are a strong and caring man. It helps a lot to know that you understand. YOU are an inspiration. 💜

Depression is a roller coaster that won’t let me get off. Having had a recent scare that my “stop” could be coming has flipped my mindset. Like you said, Guy, I looked at the road and the people traveling with me. I’m happy with the journey and now express more love to my travel companions. See what Ren gets us to do? Maybe he’s a modern day Shaman.

Another one of Ren's songs that has such a vibe but is serious and deep in its message. Like most of what Ren does.
I just came out the other end of a migrain that this time lasted 3 days and 3 nights and I have now started to try and accept that its a cronic condition and has been for years. I did not want to accept it because that to me meant admiting defeat... When the migrain is there, everything gets near impossible to bear, sound, light, movement, heat, cold, food and so on. Life becomes awful and my mind goes on a deep dive into a very dark place. Coming back out from a migrain is always emotional and the lingering effects of the emotional rollercoaster plays all kinds of tricks on me. So yes, I can understand and relate to the pain, depression and fight that this life can mean to a person. But deep down I believe that the experiance of these things is why we are here, to learn from them and to move forward despite of all of this. I do my best on this journey through life and even if that sometimes feel trivial it is what is most important, to do the best we can with the reality that is our lifes.

Hey Guy, I binge Ren reactions late at night after the family goes to sleep. I'm not logged into CZcams on my phone, so I can't like or comment on all the videos at that time. I logged onto my laptop today to tell you that I was sad to hear you experience depression; you always are so uplifting and kind to all of us who watch with you. I really hope you have friends who are as wonderful to you as you are to us. I love your vibe.
