This is Actually A Sequel to The 2007 "BLACK WATER" which is I highly recommend it, were they used real crocs and blue screen that looks really good, after the edits and the "Blackwater 2007" film is based on real event which makes it more frightening, The first one is far better than the sequel just by the look on the trailer

Imagine watching a alligator movie and the alligator has a screen time of less than 2 minutes in the whole movie. There was no suspense in the movie, acting was terrible, I actually wanted the alligator to eat them and be done with it. Besides its a damn alligator it can walk on land, couldve easily climbed on the rock to eat them. Dumb movie with dumber plotholes and even dumber cast. I don't see how anyone can enjoy this movie

It was a pretty decent flick if you don't expect the characters to have any common sense. The characters are always dumb as rocks in these types of movies so if you accept that fact, then you're in for a good ole popcorn flick.
I agree. The trailer should have ended at 1:33 when the croc bursts out. A lot of trailers have been doing this, showing too much of the story, giving away moments. Shame.

In all honestly though, the premise of this would had been perfect for an bunyip movie. Hope Traucki eventually does that alongside an megalania flick. One thing great would be the use of practical effects rather then CGI given his past films.

I have a lot of respect for the understated tone of Black Water. And Rogue is pretty good too. Based on the trailer, this one is not in the same league.

Saw it a couple weeks ago, was pretty good. Not amazing or anything, but a good hour and a half to kill. What made the movie good was the concept, it was similar to Rogue in a way that the water was rising and it was a race against time, also the crocodile looked much more real than Gustave in the movie Primeval. Check it out, you might enjoy it. Who knows

I haven’t seen a movie in years to give me anxiety like this, top notch horror vibes your worst nightmares coming true by far my favorite croc movie it’s completely terrifying! I hate the ending it could’ve been really gruesome, but over all the movie is excellent!

The director of this directed the 1st Black Water film and a shark movie called The Reef. IMHO The Reef is hands down the best shark movie ever made. Scary as hell. Black Water 1 is awesome too. Has a lower body count than most killer animal films, but the suspense is thru the damn roof the entire time.

I’m gonna see it. I saw Dinocroc, Supergator, Dinocroc vs. Supergator, Robocroc, Zombie Croc, Croc, Blood Surf, Rogue, Primeval, Alligator II....and I’ll see this. God help me....maybe I’ll get to see this and Deep Blue Sea 3 on the same weekend.
And it still is one of the best horror movies this year (which isn´t a praise to be honest considering the load of crap we got this year). It is a pretty good movie for its low budget. Fullstop.
