- This is a comedy podcast, where we get distracted and go on a lot of tangents! This week's episode is about the 1968 Olympic Salute!
Report begins at 4:14 (though as always, we go off on tangents through the report).
On October the 16th, 1968, Olympic athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos stood with their fists in the air during the medal ceremony for the 200m sprint, a gesture that would make front page news around the world. This is the story of what led to that iconic moment and its aftermath.
Originally released as a podcast on 8 July 2020.

Powerful stuff, and great report Matt!
I really enjoyed the episode. Keep up the good work. The life of Niki Lauda would also make for an interesting sports episode. :)
