The IBA, funded by Russia, and political figures like Giorgia Meloni, who is sympathetic to Russia and friendly with Putin, alongside Steve Bannon, are all implicated. This was clearly orchestrated when they learned their Italian fighter would face her. The IBA head’s frustration is due to Russia’s exclusion from both competition and governance.
Don’t be misled. The athlete in question has never failed a test before Russia took control of the IBA. The IOC demanded that the IBA end its Russian partnership, and when the IBA refused, they lost their Olympic governance role, leading to this maneuver. They know she is not transgender but was born female. They are aware of her gender status and assume the public won’t distinguish between the two. This is a manipulation designed to manipulate, and further erode trans rights, and they made the mistake attacking athletes who aren’t even trans.

But It’s not facts. The Algerian woman is intersex, not trans. It is a rare chromosome condition and she was born a girl but has more male hormonal characteristics. Maybe the rules need to be changed to account for hormone levels or something like that, but the Algerian fighter is not cheating or trans or “pretending to be female”. There are pictures of her as a little girl looking like a little girl. In Algeria, she would be put in prison for being transgender.
If there was a super rare genetic disorder that made someone able to jump 20 feet high or run the 100 meter in 3 seconds, I’d argue that that person probably shouldn’t compete in the high jump or the 100 meter dash. If a male boxer was born who had a genetic abnormality and punched a hole in everyone’s face because he has Superman strength, that dude probably shouldn’t be allowed to box. Maybe there need to be different rules that require different tests to be done, but stop blaming this woman for being some kind of evil imposter who is cheating. She has done nothing wrong.
