Best company for support. I had a loose Pipe knob, tried to fix it and I messed up the thread. I email SOMA for help. Required new knob and grub nut, plus needed to know size of key for fitting. In the post I received 2 X knob, 2 X grub nut, and key tool for fitting. Amazing support. Loving these machines, thank you.
Its really difficult nowadays finding a company you could say you´re proud of supporting it, in all certainty, without a single shard of doubt. Thank you Vlad and Soma team, Im totally proud of being your customer.
I second that!
I totally agree. But its not that hard. There are many great. None the less, I soma labs are true pioneers!
Absolutely brilliant “behind the scenes” . SOMA we love you ❤️
I connect with the Soma philosophy of creating emotionally resonant instruments. I feel connected to the sound when playing them. It is great to see the care and attention and processes behind making them. I have a lyra-8 and pulsar-23 and know they will continue to give me years of joy playing them. Thank you Soma.
I am so thankful to exist in the same time as SOMA Labs and Vlad Kremer! Every SOMA instrument is so unique and special. Thank you for sharing this with us and unlocking such new sonic spaces. What you all are doing is SO important and will certainly be remembered in history.
Thank you, everyone at Soma, for the heartfelt work you have put into making these beautiful instruments.
I just received my Pulsar 23 and Lyra 8 and after 40 years of playing electronic music, I feel like a child again, discovering and playing with open ears and open eyes. Thanks for these amazing devices and for the care you have put into creating them.
Having a Lyra on the way. These kinds of videos make me want to buy everything soma makes. Pulsar was very high on my list anyway. Would love to see this way of thinking with more companies!
Soma is amazing! I had no idea the level of craftsmanship that goes into each product. But after using a pipe/lyra/ pulsar I am not surprised at all. I can not say enough good things, the world is a better place with Soma.
Really appreciate getting to see the faces of the people behind the instruments and hearing insights on the build process!
Здравствуйте! Хочу сказать огромное спасибо всему коллективу, вы создаёте волшебство! Ваш труд очень важен для многих людей!

Thank you Vlad and everyone at Soma Laboratory, you make beautiful instruments.
I love Soma products and the philosophy behind them. Own a Pulsar, Lyra and Ether already and will eventually get all of them at some point. Can't wait for Vlad's next creations!
You’re totally amazing as creative and human, wish you a long and fruitful career you deserve it deeply, love from Belgium
Gorgeous documentary.
Just got the pulsar and was blown away! Having watched this video I now know why these instruments are so incredible! It’s so refreshing to see the passion that you all put into production! So inspiring!!!
to me the greatest manufacture in the universe. only GOD knows how much i love this people!!!
I’m reminded as to why my Lyra-8 is the central hub of my studio. It’s truly a wonderful machine and always offers inspiration. Thank you Vlad for bringing your ideas to fruition. The world needs more thinkers/artists/designers/creatives like you!!
Placing my order after seeing the passion here with this team. I’ve wanted a Lyra for a while. Pulsar someday. Much love from the USA.
Just ordered my Pulsar-23, can't wait. Thank you!
A special company, unique instruments!
My Lyra-8 (in orange of course!) is my escape hatch. It takes me to a new place every time I play it. It's beautifully designed, lovingly built, beautiful to look at, and so special. Thank you Vlad-- and everyone at SOMA for the amazing work.
This is wonderful insight into the company, I never knew there were so many people contributing at SOMA. It is clear that Vlad is a visionary and belongs on the same plane as Don Buchla for humanity and Dave Smith for practicality. This man and his team are truly keeping the spirit of synthesis alive and well.
I'm glad that there are more electronic instruments made with the souls of Russians!
The answer to all questions is SOMA. It's the game changer of modern music.
What a team! Love the Pulsar and will continue supporting Soma.
Как круто у вас в мастерской, сразу видно профессионалов!)
Most exciting company out there! Beautiful Instruments for new and expressive soul expression. Thank you… hope to dive in soon
What a lovely look into your process. Thank you. I know how much I love my Lyra and totally agree with the emotional part of it being important.
So happy with my Pulsar 23!! Thanks so much for all the fantastic work.
1.07 wendy carlos, the woman who basically popularised synthesisers! a legend! also i have to say i have a formanta maestro in my studio which i love, so it is not surprising i also love the pulsar because it is from the era that you folks like to be inspired by
I'm one of those pesky Australian owners of a Pulsar and Lyra, can confirm zero defects. Very cool doco
You make us proud knackers 👍
This is how you run a company. I really hope to visit one day!
I've been wanting to buy a pulsar-23 but have been holding off. I noticed this video on my CZcams feed and thought maybe I shouldn't watch it because it would make me impatient to buy the pulsar-23. I decided to watch it thinking I would be fine. Part way through the video I paused it and put an overnight pulsar-23 on my credit card. It should be arriving tomorrow hopefully 😂
This is why I keep telling my friends that Soma gear is always worth the wait.
Thanks Vlad and Soma! We love you! Using my Pulsar every day.
Just got my lyra8 today and can't wait to get the pulsar!!! Amazing machines!
The build quality of the LYRA 8 is amazing. One cannot imagine it from images alone. Much like old broadcast equipment. Thank you SOMA!
“We want this emotional component to be present as much as possible in the modern world. And this resonates the most with our costumers.”❤️
Exceptional designs that go far beyond what is generally considered a synthesizer/electronic instrument in today's mass produced market.
You need a philosophy which is more than just making money to produce machines of this quality.
teenage engineering should definitely read your comment and just reflect a little.
@@Hell_Inc Thanks for the laugh. My OP-1 is waiting for a new keyboard after 18 months of quite moderate use... Concerning my Lyra-8. I think I can drive my car over it and it still would work ;)
@@martingoldmannmusic those SOMA labs' things could probably withstand a nuclear cataclysm.
I'm sorry to hear about your OP-1, man. Hopefully it won't be very expensive.
@@Hell_Inc somewhat around 230€ :( - and I am waiting five weeks now to get it back. However: the Lyra helps me waiting ;)
@@martingoldmannmusic damn that's very expensive for a handful of keys.
but I bet that Lyra will keep you busy enough :)
Now I understand why the Pulsar 23 is quite costly to buy - the design and construction are works of art in themselves! I lovevmy Lyra 8, and I'm currently saving up to buy a Pulsar 23.
Interesting that some Soviet era production techniques are used, since my recollection of products from that time are that they had severe quality control issues. That was clearly a result of the "production norms" that workers were forced to achieve, where quantity was essentially the only metric. Friends who lived through that time said it was advisable to buy something with a production date stamp from early in each month, since quality dropped as the end of each month approached and workers cut corners to meet targets!
THANKS !! Love you SOMA !
After seen this I'm surprised you can keep the Pulsar retail price around 2000€, great work and philosophy, thank you
Fascinating. Thank you!
Love your vision, Vlad!
Thanks Vlad and Soma for making so many people happy with your amazing synths.🙏
What a great team! Makes me love my Pulsar even more!
I love my Pulsar and Lyra. Thank you Vlad and Soma. It's alive and I know why now
Great insight and 100% support from me Vlad - hehe, even if we've chatted over the kick drum's evolving sound, I still love my Pulsar!
Now I have a better understanding why my Pulsar 23 is taking it's time materialising. I have respect for this companies integrity. I love the fact that my now converted
Lyra 8 had this much attention to QC.
Man, you people are the best! Cheers, from Canada!
you guys are incredible! thank you for what you are doing! I wish you great success in your business and great discoveries!
Thank you for your beautiful work and amazing Instruments .
Amazing and beautiful machines!
This why Soma…. 🙏🏻
Really great team ! Love you
This is beautiful.
It warms my heart to know that there’s still people out there devoting themselves to expanding the limits of intricate electronic music instruments designs without compromising on quality. I really like the soviet part of this where there’s still a spirit from long gone times resonating through a newly-produced piece of equipment. I will surely buy one of your products soon, I am glad you didn’t get cancelled by other countries just because of where you come from!
Спасибо вам большой !
Beautiful, just beautiful
You are the best guys
Extremely happy Soma customer from Australia - beautiful instruments and a wonderful philosophy!
Fascinating stuff
A work of art really.
Wonderful look behind the scenes. Had a Lyra-8 for a few years.. superb machine.
This was a great introduction to the company whose products I have enjoyed for several years now. Thank you.
Beautiful story.
Stuff like this is what makes me support a company and have it in high regard. THIS is what makes me want to buy an instrument and have a satisfying sense of worth and pride of ownership. I don't care for silly, cringe-inducing, disconnected-from-reality-product videos that suggest to me that maybe the company thinks I'm a brainless moron, like Novation or Arturia does. Thank you for this video, Vlad. You guys are an impressive team!
What a fantastic look behind the scenes at the people that are making these devices.
Thanks soma for lyra and pulsar, the craziest gear I own that opens new worlds of sound!
Thank you Vlad and all Soma people. You made a good work, because it differs from that what we can get from all other synth makers. The only other similar experience I had and have was the Virus Ti and the Octatrack. Long lasting music machines.
🙏 thank you
Admirable company, producer of exquisite musical instruments. Very cool to get a glimpse of their production process. Thank you, Soma team.
masters at work!
I just found out about Soma but I am already in love. The vision and the EQ are amazing! Love from France 🇫🇷💕
This is beautiful. Thank you. As an Australian who has the pleasure of owning 4 of your products (Pulsar, Dvina, Ether, Pipe) I can also agree: you are loved.
Incredible
Wonderful!
Outstanding!
awesome! keep on doing what you do :)
Beautiful
Спасибо!
After this video I am looking at my Pulsar and Lyra from the other side. Beautiful instruments. Thanks guys for your care!
Beautiful. Love my LYRA-8 and glad to see who made it and where it came from and how.
Fascinating to see the process involved. People often say something is built like a tank, but here it's true! The real magic is to build like a tank but still full with organic emotion. Bravo!
I love my Lyra 8 and will buy the Enner as soon as it becomes available more locally. Amazing company with an ethos which is hard to find these days. Thankyou for all the beautifully thought out and built instruments Vlad and Soma Labs! Unrivalled in my opinion. ❤ ❤
OMG i love you guys so much right now
Wonderful insight into the company of PEOPLE. Yes, i like many, have taken advantage of the mass-produced robot-manufactured components and devices, which have made it possible for us poor people to own. That said, it is heartening to see that SOMA has forged a place in the market . The attention to detail and quality control is excellent. Long may they continue.
very cool Video, thank you to show us your company, employees and processes. We should talk about some improvements.
Well, this is awesome!
If I ever acquire the money I promise I will buy every soma product! Love you guys.
Great! Didnt expect you're hand-build the devices :) Exact same old technologies we're using for MachineRoom euro modules
Amazing documentary. So glad to heard there are still companies caring about the product delivered, but also so unique on their product designs. I wonder if someone would like to start building synths, what type of studies or knowledge, would you recommend them doing? Big thanks and congrats for your amazing work.
Highly enlightening minidoc.
Merci infiniment pour vôtre travail très passionnée et la dédication collective envers une synthèse organismique!
Where the sickest sounds born 🔥
Incredible philosophy behind this boxes.
AWESOME!
Still best backstage video ever…
Thankyou and congratulations to Vlad Kreimer and the team at Soma Lab for creating the LYRA-8. Nothing else in the world sounds like this instrument! The built quality is very robust; well worth the wait and cost. And, I can confirm that the packaging is well done because my unit arrived here in Australia in perfect condition.
