    How many times you've been asked why the quote for a motorcycle wrap is so high?! It is smaller than a car!
    You will find an answer in this episode. Don't forget to use it as a reference for your customers if they are in doubts!
    I am so excited to present to you our “Wrap Virus Journey” project today.
    The purpose of it is to travel around the world and explore the wrap industry.
    We would like to visit as many different wrap shops as we can and introduce them sharing their vision and uniqueness with the world.
    The main aim of this journey is to show people how many creative and talented guys and wrap shops are on the market.
    We also hope we will be able to exchange some knowledge, spread new information and share our personal experience with the wrap craft, techniques and materials during this time to promote the industry.

    the truth is you can do it yourself. Need more time, maybe you will leave one bubble here and there but the overall effect will be the same. Just buy the heat gun, a bit more wrap, ask a friend for help and it can be easily done with patience. Don't let them rip you off. Also, you can order Ducati Panigale stickers to have a proper finished look

      You can change engine and do all mechanical stuff by your self as well. But many people go to professional to do that

    • @bezetuba
      @bezetuba Před 3 lety +12

      @@WrapVirus well, not really.
      For changing engine you need ~2000$ in tools and specialistic knowledge, hence mechanical schools.
      For wrapping you need ~150$ in tools and a bit of patience.
      The reason why it's expensive it's because often the clients are very rich and have top cars/bikes and they won't tolerate any imperfections and don't mind overpaying. For average person the wise thing to do is to do it yourself.

      @@WrapVirus I see I pushed some buttons. Even if we assume what you say is true (which I don't believe is) - you need a lift, a. garage, a set of tools etc, so my point still stands ($). And if you about to repair an engine or anything else in the car, you need a lot of knowledge. For wrapping you need hands blower degreaser and a knife xD

      It's more about labour cost in your country 🙌 in India will be cheaper than Australia. Doesn't matter if you paint boat or wrap bike. Depends on how many hours you spend on the job and what is labour cost per hour 🙌

    Nice job but I see discrepancies that would not be so attractive as a paint job. I could actually paint a bike for half the price any color...I see red in a few spots and vinyl has a tendency to come undone. Also rock chips are crazy on bikes plus normal wear it starts to look bad early on. Not trying to discredit you in any way but for motorcycles paint is the best way to go just in my personal opinion. Good work though I enjoyed watching the process.

    • @WrapVirus
      @WrapVirus  Před 3 lety

      I understand that. But can you paint bike without damaging original paint and change color only for 3 months and then go back to original Ducati paint work? 🤔

      Honestly if I use a Clear coat as a primer I can. But I get what your saying. As I said it all personal preference. Wraps are awesome and it does have a purpose. I personally would rather wrap a car than paint it so I am on board lol.... keep making the phenomenal content 🍻
