Hey Amar .. in the tutorial you are saying (at duration 07:29) that route map you will apply at R1 , also if you have applied it on R2 for "in" direction why it should't applied on "out" direction. Please check. Thanks

Coming to your query
For AS 200 R1 & R4 both are advertising 100.0.0.0 network with default Local Perf. 100 .
Since the path via R1 should be peferred we are applying the route map in direction on R2 for its bgp neighbor R1.
It means that R2 is saying to R1 that whenever you( R1) will send update message to me (R2) for network 100.0.0.0 set the local perf. 200 instead of default local perf.100.
Remember update message including 100.0.0.0 is given to R2 by R1 .
