You can fry them asparagus right in the pan with the other veggies
The best way to get rid of the woody bottom is to bend and break them. No waste and never any wood left with the top part. I grow asparagus in my garden here in southern Alberta.

Hi! Thank you so much! I’d seen someone put garlic and Parmesan on them before, then I added mushrooms and onions. A lot of my recipes I come up with myself or just add other ingredients to recipes I’ve tasted before 🤗✨👍🏽
Snap your asparagus holding the cut end, bend and snap, it will break right in the perfect place so as not to have that chewy stringy tough end ....😋

Would this go good with battered shrimp on the side? (Mushroom and asparagus) Am thinking of making this with shrimp and rice today for me and my dad. (we like the same foods) lol. Everyone else eats their own foods cause picky but my dad and I have our own meals and like everything.
