I'm obsessed with this show. I stopped watching other talk shows that are recorded from home because they lost some type of thing but The Xchange Rate has my full undivided attention. The host is was makes it great. 💜💜💜
Monét is so right about Joe Exotic, he’s not to be praised! He needs to be condemned.
The thing for me is that almost everyone in that show should be in prison, not just Joe. They were all crooked criminals in one way or another. I totally agree Joe doesn't deserve to be famous and definitely deserves to be in prison. But the idea they probably came extra hard for him because he was gay and lived in a mostly red state bothers me. 80% of these people should get prison time.
Everyone keep saying “lock Carol Baskin up” and “free Joe” 🙄 Everyone on that show is deplorable and Joe deserves to rot in jail and have his tiger kingdom dismantle. Joe is not someone to idolize or admirer and be free to “take care” of animals.
It's honestly a little scary for me to see the sheer amount of horror people are willing to overlook with Joe Exotic. Just because he's charismatic does not mean he's anywhere close to a good person

Thank you Monet, for speaking up for that Joe Exotic character being an extreme animal abuser. I'm simultaneously infuriated, sickened, and crushed by what we saw him do to the animals on that series. I feel like that all took a back seat to the spectacle of everything else that went on in that show.
Because they were trying to sympathize him, sis. The producer of the series would be hurt by Carol Baskin's bill cause he breeds and sells turtles and other reptiles... So much for "objectivity"

Thankyou SO much for bringing up the weird glorification of Joe Exotic... I’ve been aware of who he is since Louis Theroux did a documentary on him in 2011 and I didn’t like him at all then. So I didn’t even bother with Tiger King. It’s been so frustrating watching from the outside and you’re the first person I’ve seen not praise the guy.
